Stop it lol. Just stop it!
There's no fecking they're first grade RL players.
The only time they'd move fast is when the buffet is closing.

Look let’s be real here everyone. As I stated, much to the sadness of nlol, in the opening posts, drug use is rife in the AFL and it’s either performance enhancing drugs or it’s the recreational drugs. The blokes who are muscled up are more likely ur AFL ped cheats (remember the Essendon drugs saga? Worst australian drug cheats in history? ;) ) and the other fellas, well they’re likely the ones who are getting it up their nose as much as possible. Some of em are just greedy and doing both. But when it all comes down to it we have coaches and players telling us how they see it from the inside and they say...it’s outta control, rife they say

And let’s also be real about the average non PED using Alf athlete

Exhibit (a) dale ‘daisy’ Thomas - yes daisy is his real nickname

One hell of an AFL player right there. He could turn a match on its head, take over and single handedly win games. On his day he was one of the best non PED using athletes the AFL has ever seen.

And now please let’s look at a comparable photograph of Kelly bensimon, a female model wearing Elizabeth Hurley swimwear.

Now be honest folks, if you were an ANZAC at war running up a beach in Gallipoli under heavy artillery fire with enemy soldiers approaching who would ya want next to ya. ‘Daisy’or Kelly?

Be honest nlol, this AFL non PED using superstar looks prepubescent.

It’s just a reality that the sport of AFL commonly attracts very feminine ‘men’, ‘daisys’ if you please

Having played both codes I can see the reasons why. Traditionally masculine traits like toughness, grit, strength, power and courage are far more required in rugby league than AFL.

That picture looks like it was taken when he was a rookie. Although he's still lean this is more like his normal shape. He's a wiry player, but the great part of AFL is a player of his build can still be of value if he is skilled enough

This is BS. Got proof of this?

I doubt you've even seen an AFL game let alone played it. There's no doubt that power and strength is more important in RL, but to suggest toughness, grit and courage are more prevalent in RL is absurd. No one who has played the game would say that.

Nlol you poor daft plodder you.

Of course hairstyle is associated with femininity. It’s also associated with masculinity. Always has been and always will be. This has nothing to do with 50s attitudes at all but rather the reality of gender and culture. In our western culture women are much more likely to assume the looks in the images I’ve shown. Why? Because it’s feminine

Nlol lemme teach you. There’s some who prefer and identify with the more feminine look and, well, I know you don’t want to admit it, but there’s an abundance of these ‘men’ who’ve made it to the AFL.

I’m afraid this can be no mere coincidence nlol. It’s just the reality of the situation. I’m sorry if you’re offended by this but I hope one day you realise it’s ok for men to be feminine and not necessarily a bad thing at all.

It’s great many many many AFL players are identifying as feminine men, that’s ok! :thumbleft:

 not necessarily. There’s more to the feminine looks that your AFL boys are identifying very acutely with.

Lemme direct you to the looks your boys are emulating.

I’ve looked up female hairstyles men love to help compile the evidence for my statement. So let’s have a closer look shall we!?
Image

Above we have a great effort by AFL player to achieve the ‘messy bob’. THe fact he’s added to the look with a pink headband really accentuates the feminine look he’s after

Image
Messy Bob
"My personal fave is a messy bob. I cut my girlfriend's curly red

locks this way; it makes the back of her fair neck look so appealing. I've cut most of my past girlfriends hair. They always seemed to like it. I'm a serial bob-ist."

And just look at this exquisite effort by a Brownlow medallist to achieve CLASSIC COIFS!! and the fact he put so much effort in on the afls night of nights for Brownlow night is just heart warming stuff!

I like the more classic hairstyles, like Christina Hendricks on Mad Men. Of course, that might also be my preference for redheads."

And this ones just a beauty! ‘Long and wild’ def one of my fave looks...on a woman

Image

And the fact he’s gone to the effort of getting a fan to get that wind blown look is just such great attention to feminine detail don’t ya think nlol?

Here’s the look he’s going for below, sourced from Marie Claire hairstyles men love on women :)
Long and Wild
"I love long, messy hair. Mary-Kate Olsen and her messy bohemian look is hot. But I can also get down with a really structured short haircut. The trick is to match your hair with your face shape, and more importantly your persona. This may come as a surprise to a lot of women, but guys are much more perceptive when it comes to visual cues than we're given credit for. Though many of us may not be able to verbalize, we do notice."

He almost nailed it!

And this ones just awesome. Do you have any idea how much time this gentleman would’ve spent in front of the mirror working on this look nlol!!!? I mean give the guy atleast some respect and stop fobbing off the fact he’s working real hard on his femininity!

Image

There’s no doubting this chap has gone for the ‘long and simple’ look that so many men are attracted to
Long and Simple
"Keep it simple! I like women with longer hair. It can be straight m— slight curls are okay — but in general girls should keep it long and in good condition. I like it long because it looks more feminine."
Daniel, 31, Financial Consultant

Image

I think the AFL lad in the first image takes the cake. He’s worked harder and deserves to be respected for making his hair the most feminine of all the pics male and female. Just get that chip
Off yer shoulder and give him a big clap why don’t ya nlol!

=D
