Rugby league participation in Western Australia increased by 16.7 per cent
in 2018. There was positive growth across all age groups with an 11.6 per
cent growth in male rates and a 43.1 per cent increase in registered female participation.

growth in the number of participants playing rugby league in Central Australia, up 7 per cent.

NRL Victoria reported that total participation grew by 3.3 per cent in 2018 with 3953 participants - 12.8 per cent rise in male players aged 13-15 and a 33 per cent rise in female players aged 5 to 9 years.

This included $9,619,000 from the ARLC and $4,200,000 from the NRL for elite pathways.

players in 2018; with more than 59,000 registered players representing more than 500 clubs across Regional NSW. A 28% increase now sees more than 11,000 women competing in CRL competitions

Well for starters im sure you'd take a similar claim from the AFL without question...

Secondly, the nrlw only had 7 games in 2018, the aflw had 29. So if you want talk most watched the AFLw was probably watched by far more. This is why the nrl only claimer they lead on averages, not totals.

Furthermore, most aflw games were on fox only, how many nrlw games were only on fox?
