Oh for fucks sake .
They don't have a HOME TEAM ......pleases read again.... a HOME team to follow .
That's why they don't go ..plus
Many have the shits with the AFL for taking their best players from the local comps ... yet never giving them their own team
Why would you support other FIFo VICTORIAN...not a tAS team just VICTORIAN teams .
There's no local affiliation.....nothing.
. How the fuck can you not understand that ?
they've never had a home team, the local population support existing AFL teams. In fact if the AFL did create a new Tasmanian club they would face challenges never seen by a new AFL club before.

The Eagles were created prior to a national comp so the locals were supporting WAFL clubs. They had a massive population just waiting for a local club to take on the VFL. The Crows were in a similar situation to the eagles.

The dockers and power were powerhouses of the WAFL and SANFL so their supporter base was well established prior to entering the AFL.

The Lions and Swans were relocations/mergers.

The giants and suns are a closer comparison and they are struggling. If it werent for the AFL's interest in expanding into these regions they wouldnt exist.

A new Tasmania club would struggle for enough support given the AFL is national now, so supporters around the state already have a side. If their population was 500k to 1m they'd have a chance. 200k is WAY too small

Lol just lol
The comparisons with new NSW & Qld teams is laughable
Firstly
Neither is AFL heartland.....lol a long way from it .
They now have 4 teams in NON AFL heartland

Yet TAS is Aflol heartland & have ZERO teams .
Bit that's alright by you . You are just regurgitating the AFLs bullshit why they don't get a team .
Like a good brainwashed cultist does .

Secondly the new teams were put in an area the same area as already EXISTING teams in that area .
TAS Is
Totally different .they don't have a HOME TEAM .
It's like talking to a 5 yr old . Basic facts go straight over your head .

Facts are the tasmanians would
Turn out in numbers triple that of the western sydneysiders even tho they have only one tenth of the population.

We all know west Sydney crowds are generally more than half full with opposing team fans.

the new teams are there to gather new fans from future generations. They are there for expansion.

Tasmania is already AFL heartland. It just doesnt have the population to support an AFL side when competing with Col, Carl, Rich, Ess, Hawks, Eagles, Crows etc. It would be great to give them a side but it wont happen any time soon

Amazing to think AFL had an over 40 year head start on Rugby League and it still only exists in 1 country.

1871 it had clubs going while Rugby League was only being established in 1908.

Just proves a lemon sport will never get taken up by other nations.

You asked a question ...& I gave you an answer .
Fremantle is a city that has its own AFL team .
It has a population far smaller than Tas.

You just can't accept anything that isn't the AFL house sanctioned script .

By the way nice deflecting .
Let's get back to the topic that you have ignored over & over .
