RL,is the most watched sport in AUST.

Most games in S.A are shown on Channel 7

Most games in W.A are also shown on Channel 7
except Thursday/Friday games and twilight games shown pass the 6pm slot.
most games will be broadcast of home games on the main network.

Agree, however that lead in audience is relevant for every program. The tennis rates lower on 7two and 7mate than ch7. Same as the winter Olympics. Why wouldnt that also be relevant for the AFL?

I sit down at 7.45 turn on ch 9 ..not on ..there's a wedding or something .

Seeing I have an IQ above a pot plant( Victorians seem to be way below this ) .

A proportion of every TV audience watch because they are invested, and a proportion watch because it's convenient. They wont plan ahead, they'll turn the TV on and watch whatever. These are part of every ratings figure. This is one reason prime time rates far better, people will sit in front of the TV and watch something even if it's not their preferred interest.

and 7two would have chinese player via a Swedish player

On occasion yes, but watching the tennis many of the better matches are on 7mate. For the olympics the events are similar. And we arent just talking about just losing the ratings, they're often 3 to 4 times less.

What about movies, they are way behind yet the movies are about as popular.
