3 put of 4 hit the target .
Lol
There's that many hat racks on the field running around like blind mice that one player kicks to anywhere on the field & there will be someone in the vicinity to run & catch ...lol or try to catch...oooops .ive fumbled it .
So no .
It's not laser accuracy ..it's just that there's not too many areas ..hardly any that don't have a player or players there .
Nice try .you get one unco point for missing .
This is the most hilarious retort ive seen. Yes there are many players on the field, but half are opposition players. So if passes are innacurate they cause turnovers which are not considered an effective pass
Try again
I have to agree LOL.
But Crap does make an interesting point about the "hat racks".
I think i'll expand on that a bit.
A flogby playing field is 100m x 68m at 6800m2.
That's a whopping 262m2 of field for each of the 26 players.
But,
When you consider that the game is mostly played in a linear fashion 10m either side of where the ball is, shuffling up and down the field, that figure reduces to 52.3m2.
About quarter of a tennis court.
This is being generous when you think that the players aren't scattered about in this area, they are in a line a few meters apart.
You could literally shut your eyes and still hit a teammates chest.
Now,
In AFL the playing field varies, they can range from 135m-185m long and 110m-155m wide.
For arguments sake we'll look at the MCG.
171m x 146m at 19608m2 (i had to triple check my math on this one, seemed too large)
Virtually three times the playing surface.
Now,
sit down Crap.
That is a mind boggling 545m2 of field for each of the 36 players. 1090m2 for a pair of opponents.
More than double Flogbys' measly 262m2
And 10 times that of what the flogby lads mainly range within.
But when you consider the modern AFL playing style.
Where most players are within 100m of the ball that 545m2 come down to 218m2.
About the size of a full tennis court.
But you must also consider that each player has a direct opponent, so that rises to 436m2 for a pair of opponents.
That's the size of 2 full tennis courts.
8 times the Flogby lads
No wonder laser accuracy is required. That's a huge space to cover for one player and his opponent.
There goes your "hardly any" bullshit Crap.
