So this is what they get for free entry in AUST .
Yet apparently they'll find people willing to invest in this game going overseas.
I hope they tellmthese potential investors there won't be much return on their investment as even with free entry for anyone the place was near empty .
Lol

Re: X' marks the spot for Asian expansion
Oh man,
that article Leeroy linked. I canβt laugh anymore, the stupidity is now becoming more astounding than hilarious.
Fukkin hell. I just canβt understand how stupid senior AFL management staff are. Stupidity must be a requirement within the application process and those who possess the highest levels of imbecile, the highest potential to think and strategically plan like a post labotomy buffoon...theyβre the ones who get the senior roles directing the $$$.
Ok lemme break this down
Firstly the big bash comparisons are mindnumbingly stupid - Aussie rules is not similar to cricket in some very fundamental ways
A) Aussie rules puts significantly more strain on the body and injuries occur at a significantly higher rate.
B) Cricket is already played and loved in many countries
C) 20/20 cricket brings out a facet of cricket that people already love I.e more big hits, more wickets, more run outs, more classic catches. Whilst aflx has brought most attention for reducing facets of Aussie rules that most love I.e high marks, contested marks, actual pressure etc.
D) 20/20 cricket has a significant player pool to draw from across across the world - Aussie rules has the AFL
So all this shite that the labotomised buffoons employed in the senior management teams of the AFL are saying about aflx having potential to be just like big bash is absolute bullshit.
How will the fans feel when their star player gets injured during aflx?
How will other business minded folks in countries consider backing aflx with, in China for example 0.00000000000000001% of population interest?
With aflx played on a completely different field, receiving significant criticism and reducing some of the fans most enjoyed aspects of the game, how will local investment in the sport provide interest and backing?
And lastly but not leastly, I present AFL hq management, hard at work.

I mean Lordy what the fukk are these dills down at AFL hq thinking?

Just because you think this way doesnt mean either case is true. Usually it takes years to determine, didnt you used to say the same tyhing about GWS yet they now have more members bar two NRL clubs.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:20 pmThis is a bigger flop than the AFL China match. If you call AFL being outrated by teletubies on low rating channel 7mate success.... I guess your setting a pretty low bar...Swans4ever wrote: Fri Mar 09, 2018 10:08 amJust because you think this way doesnt mean either case is true. Just because your sport at top, level has only one dimension .
Doesn't mean other sports should be judged by that criteria.
We have many levels .
Get out of your bubble occasionally

Because it has limits

Re: X' marks the spot for Asian expansion
it was still an incorrect answer. The reason Swan's question was valid is because our H&A crowds are far bigger than NRL crowds including your rep and international games. Basically we flog all your levels put togetherAFLcrap1 wrote: Sat Mar 10, 2018 7:29 pmYes it was
