Rl got higher cumulative ratings ... that’s acknowledged. I was wondering what accounted for the AFL finals put rating the nrl finals ? Anyone got any thoughts ?

they wont answer that Fred. They have no explanation for why the AFL outrates the NRL when shown like for like.Fred wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2017 6:01 pmRl got higher cumulative ratings ... that’s acknowledged. Re: AFL International Rules out rates RL World Cup Finals
Your mob goes on and on about games shown in isolation all the time. When games are shown head to head you have 40 or 50m shown in isolation . But we don't go on and on about it like you guys - we don't need to make excuses for every little thing. Rugby League not only has more viewers on TV than any othersport, they come from less matches. It also has the two most watched matches nationally (4 of the top 6). As well as being worth more per minute than any other sport in this country.

OK: well ya see Fredo - the Japanese army won a lot of battles throughout WWII. At different times they were thought to be invincible. And WOW didn't they talk up a big game the little buggers!!!! Eventually though the good guys fought back and won the war comprehensively, totally and without question.
That's called an analogy Fred. You won't understand but to make it more simple for you: the Japanese are the AFL and the good guys are RL. Ask Mrs Fred about it, I'm desperately hoping she can explain this concept to you my friend.
In the mean time stay fit and healthy Fredo old boy. You seem to be deteriorating lately!!!

Re: AFL International Rules out rates RL World Cup Finals
Are you kidding? We talk about concurrent games for our own code, not yours against ours. FFS, your first 4 rounds are in isolation against NO sport!!pussycat wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2017 8:24 pmYour mob goes on and on about games shown in isolation all the time. We've also discussed the tiny theoretical advantage we would have by playing our last 1.5 quarters against no NRL. Given it's mostly after 10pm, and NSW/QLD ratings for the AFL arent high, and it's only 1/3rd of of our telecast, the advantage would be stuff all
see abovewe don't need to make excuses for every little thing

Simply untrue given none of your games cannibalise of another. If your game had more viewers you wouldnt have lost EVERY final, and 26 of 30 head to head games during the season.Rugby League not only has more viewers on TV than any othersport, they come from less matches
and we already know SOO rates well. The fact you pl;ay it 3 times is why you have 4 of the top 6. If you played it once like our GF's you'd have two of the top 6. If we played our GF 3 times we'd have 3 of the top 6. The '4 of the top 6' BS is pointless when we dominate the next top 20 games. It also has the two most watched matches nationally (4 of the top 6). As well as being worth more per minute than any other sport in this country

well we won 34 of 38 head to head 'battles' Terry. If Japan had dominated the world like that we'd be speaking Japanese right nowTerry wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2017 8:36 pmThanks Fredo. you won two categories (cumulative ratings, highest rating game), we won all of the others. So overall, we won quite comfortablyTerry wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2017 9:57 pmGeez you AFL folk are pathetic bad losers. You lost - RL won. Suck it up and move on pal. Geez it's sad for these poor buggers. Take your small victories pal. RL won the war. These dullards really need sympathy. Is there some organisation that can help these people.NlolRL wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2017 10:16 pmyou won two categories (cumulative ratings, highest rating game), we won all of the others. Oh boy. Anyway re: my simple question ... what do you think were the factors that saw the AFL finals outrate the Rl grand finals week to week ?Terry wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2017 8:36 pmThanks Fredo. Re: AFL International Rules out rates RL World Cup Finals
Oh and I agree Rl win re cumulative. Just wondering why AFL wins when head to head. Someone said the AFL have 40 or so minutes where it isn’t up against nrl ... and nrl folk may turn over. Well there you go someone tried to explain. Nrol does not feel that is an factor but at least pussy? Put some reason or possible explanation forward.
I may have to hand this thing over to my PA for a few weeks. You may see some improvement lol. Less typos anyway. He’s an nrl supporter but not fanatical ... nice lad.
