Yes H & A will be interesting Fred. You only count the home ratings for 15 RL teams v 18 in the fumbling league so quite an advantage you have manufactured there.Fred wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 12:16 pmYeah... I'm looking forward to seeing who won the ratings for home and away.

Once the 3 levels of RL are counted we will smash the fumbling league. And that will be with many less games counted even after the RLWC.

Thanks Fredo. Strangely enough I will Lololololololololol. And you can play your little strike in strike out rule to make yourself feel good about your land locked little game of fumbling Lolololol.

The estimates are never to far out. They've been good enough in years gone by, good enough right up until round 17.When Wookie realised he was wasting his time . The AFL ,after such a good start to the season, were heading for yet another loss. You cant blame him really , 2nd year after year. It must get embarrassing. He did mention though that Melbourne 's ratings have dropped 10% this year. Must be concerning

no where near as concerning as Sydney's ratings for the NRL. Just over 800k for a GF is deplorable. Many of our finals rated that well in Melbourne alonepussycat wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:24 pm

Fred naturally you get more ratings in the home and away series. Your lot put in a lot more effort and have a lot more matches - its all that the AFL has.Fred wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 12:16 pmYeah... I'm looking forward to seeing who won the ratings for home and away.

And yes obviously we win when we have a similar number of matches. There's no trick involved. People just prefer to watch Rugby League

No you dont. 9 finals each showed the AFL win easily for each match and in total. Concurrent scheduling through the year allows you to get closepussycat wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:43 pmFred naturally you get more ratings in the home and away series. And I never said you didn't publish the results(where possible). And I'm appreciative of all the work that you put in.The_Wookie wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 2:02 pmIve always published the data i have whether the AFL are winning or losing. Same reason I published the A-league data and the BBL data. End of the day, more than being a fan of the AFL or any code, Im a fan of the data itself.pussycat wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:24 pmNlolRL wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 12:05 pm

I cant do much without regional data when i dont have it - and they stopped giving it to me around round 18, and the estimates for the NRL at least were wildly off last year - I predicted 16 million more than the NRL published in its annual report. more than 10% over.
While most of the time we get all the NRL data we need - Mediaweek constantly publisheds NRL regionals for FTA, and almost always ignores the AFL ones outside finals and big events - lots of AFL data is missing, especially for games in smaller tv markets.
I note you gloss over the fact I mentioned Sydney NRL ratings were down 20% too, dumbass.
Just out of curiosity though were any estimates used in the 1st 17 rounds?
