Rugby League clearly is the bigger sport at a global level with a total of 150,000 plus expected through the gates at the two grand finals.

Another AFL sook all jealous that no other country will ever want to play AFL.PerfectToATee wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2017 8:08 amIs Rugby League dying in England like it is here in Australia? We know that in a country like NZ it's a competition made up from the dregs who weren't good enough to play union. Is this the same too in England, does it just exist for the dregs who weren't good enough to play soccer?
Rugby League and Gridiron are both structured games mate. Where you can't drop a ball constantly like in AFL.PerfectToATee wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2017 8:20 amNRL&NFLweLaughATafl I always see your username as rather comical. Calling AFL players in general stick insects just shows either bias or stupidity. Come on man... you know better than this. I'm surprised as you usually know these things. Okay ... it's a stir but just playing with you backAFLcrap1 wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2017 9:22 amLol He actually playedPerfectToATee wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2017 8:20 amNRL&NFLweLaughATafl I always see your username as rather comical. Mate most AFL players are stick insects compared to other oval ball codes. They don't even look like footballers.Fred wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2017 11:11 amCalling AFL players in general stick insects just shows either bias or stupidity. Come on man... you know better than this. They both don't reward points for missing goals either.
This is the reason they laugh at how stupid AFL is.![]()

Plucking numbers out of your arse Phil. I can smell the shit from here lolphil wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2017 1:17 pmMore people at RL finals than AFL - BS
There are already more than 150,000 in and around the MCG , but the G will can only accommodate about 105,000,. The grounds and parking areas are chocas, the Punt Rd oval, 500 meters away, will be full, all watching on the big screens, and then there's the pubs on Punt Rd, and Punt road itself will be standing room only,
The fans around the G will still be trying to burchase tickets, and pay big dollars for them
How did the NRL ticket sales go?
Half price, then give aways, and it's still not full, and only 80,000 capacity. Hmmmm
