What happens to the mental health of a transgender person who now wants an irreversible procedure reversed because they made the decision to go ahead with irreversible procedures at too young an age to even know what that meant?
Does the AFL just forget about that little conflict of interest? THE AFL ARE PUSHING TOO MANY BARROWS AND THEY BECOME CONFLICTED: THAT IS THE VERY REAL AND PRESENT DANGER OF GETTING INVOLVED IN POLITICS. YOU CAN'T TELL ME I'M WRONG ON THIS BECAUSE I AM 100 PERCENT CORRECT.
I am protecting my kids from people like you who won't let the no campaign even debate consequences in a democracy: you sir are dodgy!
What is democracy again fine sir?

Mixing sport with politics is not really a good match.Beaussie wrote: Wed Sep 20, 2017 7:06 pmYep, Pride Game and now this. Very proud of our national game and its leadership.
But saying that. AFL is the chosen homosexual football code by the gay community.
The Sydney Swans have the rainbow Swans fangroup. Which is for it's large gay supporter base.
And they have the gay pride rounds with St Kilda etc..
So it all makes sense to support the yes vote for AFL.

Dear King-Eliagh, we are talking about impressionable young children being 'taught' here so why don't you just simply realise I have the right to ask serious questions about that.
It is a democracy afterall isn't it?
Ages of consent exist for a reason, do they not?
Why are the ages of consent different for males and females, for instance? You are in deep deep water if you want to start telling million of voters they don't have the right in an alleged democracy to discuss the consequences of such major changes such as changing marriage from an institution of heterosexuality to one of debauchery
The AFL better have some answers because a lot of money has been fraudulently siphoned off of football fans for a controversial political campaign they are not allowed to even voice their opinion in.
Do you know what debauchery is?

Re: The AFL just made an eye-catching change to its logo
I am saying they are taking money for political campaigns: millions upon millions of FOXTEL subscriptions and ticket sales are actually going toward campaigning for the education of our young and impression children to be gay in school and entertain the taking of drugs to stop their normal bodily processes so as to prepare them for irreversible surgery. I call this fraud, bordering on treason.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Sat Sep 23, 2017 12:44 pmMixing sport with politics is not really a good match.Beaussie wrote: Wed Sep 20, 2017 7:06 pmYep, Pride Game and now this. That's all I'm saying and as a parent I have the obligation to protect my children how I see fit.
This whole ssm marriage debate is very fishy when you can't even discuss the consequences of policy change in an alleged democracy. Politics is all about explanation and the AFL had better start explaining themselves.
Is this a democracy, or is it infact a dictatorship?

King-Eliagh,
Haven't you ever heard of 'grooming'?
This is what the AFL are doing to our kids: you think football leagues should be involved in politics now?

What do you think 'grooming' means? Hint, because you're obviously a complete moron: it's got something to do with teaching!
You seriously need to get a brain! You just can't admit you're wrong.
Kids need protection.... only a moron like you would say they don't need their parents to protect them from those who would seek to 'groom' our children.
You, Sir King-Eliagh, are definitely a moron.

Re: The AFL just made an eye-catching change to its logo
I'm still waiting for him to answer how same sex marriage will influence what is taught in schools! How will it change what is currently there?
I'm happy for you to have your say Buzz. I'm happy to debate. But please answer the questions that are put to you.
My thinking, and I could be wrong, is that you are actually against homosexuality. That's your choice I guess. But homosexuality is here, has always been here, and will continue to be here. That's it going to change. I think your issue is that if we change the law to allow same sex marriage than this is society giving approval to homosexuality. And you don't like that. Which is fine if that's your opinion. Just state that. Do t bring in all this stuff about kids being groomed (look up that meaning by the way) or taught to be gay. That had nothing to do with same sex marriage. If your worried about kids being taught that homosexuality is okay well that's your right but a different argument.
On a final note. Can I ask you this. How would you respond if your child or grand child was gay?
I would much rather my children be confortable with their sexuality. To express it as heterosexual couples do. That it be no big deal. That he or she do not think they are weird or different. That they are happy and don't contimplate taking their own life .. or worse, actually take their life. All because they feared how society would respond to their sexuality.

Yeah I think AFL is using it as a marketing strategy because AFL is known as Australias gay football code in in NSW and Qld.Buzz wrote: Sat Sep 23, 2017 12:56 pmI am saying they are taking money for political campaigns: millions upon millions of FOXTEL subscriptions and ticket sales are actually going toward campaigning for the education of our young and impression children to be gay in school and entertain the taking of drugs to stop their normal bodily processes so as to prepare them for irreversible surgery. But I agree with you. I think primary school kids should be kept innocent from sex changes and all that lgbt stuff.
Is too young.
Has nothing to do with junior sport when you think about it.
