The fumble Gf is the highlighlight of the fumble year
So it should smash everything it's up against
all wanting to watch will watch.

The NRL GF is up against other top rating shows which would take viewing numbers off us.


So answer the question
With plenty of notice to change work etc does anyone who wants to watch the fumble final watch it ..

The NRL has plenty of top quality opposition .

Especially for an event that is assured of a big audience
That's why networks want a nighttime GF...
Not because the ratings will suddenly spike .
They already have a guaranteed audience of 3-4 million .

Given the AFL has never had a night grand final this is nothing more than an assumption without evidence.

yep, thats the reality. Even test cricket is dabbling with evening tests, for the very purpose of increasing ratings. Despite nothing else worth watching during the day sessions, and plenty of decent shows in the evening, the evening sessions rate better. Even the Australian open tennis final went prime time and saw immediate ratings boosts

Cropper every thing rates better in the evening as basically more people are home then! It's it's been known as prime time for ages, it maxamises ratings and Rv networks can charge extra for advertising!
