quite amazing the storm got so high, with way less FTA coverage.
compared to the swans>>
Id say a fair proportion of melbourne are used to watching sport on a septmeber saturday night, and the all conquering storm scratched that itch when there was no AFL on for the weekend. Its a good result but according to pussycat one third of nrl fans in sydney watch the AFL on friday night after 9.45pm anyway.

If i was an nrl fan id be a little miffed at how the storm continue to dominate ypur comp after almost 2 decades
if they were showed more regularly would develop a better viewing pattern>

yes there was no AFL games on this night>>
though Swans & Gws play a lot of games where there is no FTA coverage of NRL on

Storms success is something special>>
over last 10 Years there spine has been brilliant>>

Storm domination is not down to Victoria>>
its down to Business and feeder clubs they have hooked up
with over the years..

NRL literally throw nothing at them>
I cannot say the same for the 2 Sydney clubs.

AFL also take less money to ensure they are shown into their respective towns

I try not to get involved but wasn't there a news article or something on this loan stuff ? I'll do a google search I guess but thought this was in the news?
There has been a few different articles about the nrl being knocked back! Crapper jumps ups and down and demands proof! So you post it, he cries lies in fits of denial then finds something else that has been posted in the the paragraph the deflects on to that! This is why every thread ends up in constant dribble.
Awe how sweat, the two twits are tweeting the same tune :(/ :(/ :(/
For someone who went on about people metres not understanding how they work it's a bit like the pot calling the kettle black ....

Fair enough. I must admit I just scroll through your and his dribble ... I thought it was whether the loan was knocked back or not. My mistake if it was about it was knocked back for fudging. My apologies.
Why comment if you don't know what the debate is about .

crapper knows all this but I'm in denial about it, as it's been discussed many a times

Two or three years ago an accounting firm errors in the nrlols annual report with the nrlol over inflating their profit
Last years annual report from the nrlol noted down they made a profit, but for that profit to happen it includes a 50million dollar advancement from the new broadcast deal,
I can provide links of proof when i get back from work...

You think a code with a billion dollar broadcast deal in place, turning over hundreds of millions in revenue, would & millions in sponsorship deals & assets would be approved for a $30 million dollar loan?

Who ever is crunching the numbers as nrlol house needs a new calculator
Source for this please

Fudge fudge fudge, that's why your code was knocked back for a basic bank loan

I wouldn't say less money>>

it is structured into the Tv Deal..

if you want the whole package>> you have to do this this and this...

Something the AFL structured better in the deal for "FANS" "MORE EXPOSURE" "MORE GAMES ON FTA"

than what the NRL have done..

How many time does it really need to be listed crapper
Billion dollar tv contract, millions in sponsorship and assets & hundreds of millions in revenue

The nrlol has been caught out many times fudging numbers even down to their annual reports

What's stopping them for getting approval for a bank loan? :)))
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

Of course you would. There are no positives for RL allowed in your bubble dwelling world.
I did say it was a good result...
FYI - the Storm have won 4 premierships over the last 20 years and 2 were rubbed out due to salary cap cheating.
since 2006 theyve made the top 4 10 out of 12 times! One of the times they missed was due to salary cap penalties, so it could easily have been 11 from 12. That is a domination
Re the ratings: If you read the full post it actually shows that the Storm rated more in Melbourne over the season than the Swans did in Sydney. When the average ratings for both the Swans and Giants were added together they had a very slight win over the Storm - that's 2 games V 1.
what a stupid comparison! Given the storm have had only a few FTA games their average is significantly favoured by Saturday's result which was against no other sport. The storms previous FTA ratings were well under the swans ratings

Fair dinkum you fumblers are thick. Read the article pal. The main comparison is the years averages FTA and Fox combined. Storm weekly more in Melbourne than the Swans in Sydney and just behind when Swans/GWS combined.

Not long back it was all Brisbane Brisbane Brisbane. But I cant complain to much, you've finally changed the record. Now if we could only do something about that Friday....Friday....Friday....Friday....Friday track.

The Storm have played 8 FTA matches. So its not that stupid a comparison.
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

I cant read the article because its behind a paywall

The swans have been averaging nearly 70k on FTA alone. There's no way the Storm are anywhere near that in Melbourne, other than Saturdays outlier (for reasons explained)
