You obviously didn't read my post! the AFL are No1 when it comes to silver medals.docker24 wrote: Fri Aug 04, 2017 5:27 pmpussycat wrote: Fri Aug 04, 2017 1:41 pmI don't care what you'll give me. Your a struggling joke of a game that most people couldn't give a shit about.
The NRL accumulates more ratings (in Australia) every single year, as well as providing 4 of the 5 top rating matches.
What I said was the NRL revenue has been greater than AFL's in recent years! as has been there profit.
our grass roots are complaining, our players are complaining, the cricketers are complaining, the politicians are complaining , who isn't complaining about what they get? doesn't mean there not getting enough. I bet your AFL woman's comp , who play for nothing wouldn't be so quick to agree with you. If there not getting enough i'm sure it will be looked at.
Our Women are well sponsored and well paid! They compete not only Nationally but also on the world stage.
AFL = Crowds, memberships and large helping of bullshit and silver medals.![]()
Nice post does it come in non fiction?
and you have no idea if you think AFL only is from crowds and memberships

Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
RL will get gold for ratings again this year docked (hope the operation wasn't too painful pal). Add crowds and TV ratings together and this year will be the same as last year - a massive win to the good 'ol girl Rugby League. Goodluck my friend and don't despair too much - Melbourne loves the fumbling game!!docker24 wrote: Fri Aug 04, 2017 10:28 pmIf AFL is getting silvers then the NRL is struggling for any medal

Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
Okay so revenue AFL is killing nrl.
Membership ... AFL killing AFL
Crowds ... AFL killing nrl
Expansion to non heartland areas ... AFL killing nrl
Grassroots in non heartland areas ... AFL murdering nrl
Growth of junior AFL ... AFL killing nrl
So when you saying all AFL has us crowds .... which is nothing to be sniffed at ... you are plainly wrong.

Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
The NRL revenue has increased more over the past 4years than the AFL's has over the past 5 . That's just a fact - clearly written in your annual report. Wether you fumblers want to face up to it or stick your head back in the sand .

Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
wookies graph shows the difference in the code's revenue is huge and not getting close. In fact they never will while the NRL remains basically a TV sport onlypussycat wrote: Sun Aug 06, 2017 10:22 amThe NRL revenue has increased more over the past 4years than the AFL's has over the past 5 . Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
It's still dwarfed by the AFL lol. Great for them to be getting a deserved increase in Rv rights revenue but AFL still dwarfs the nrl and arl revenue.pussycat wrote: Sun Aug 06, 2017 10:22 amThe NRL revenue has increased more over the past 4years than the AFL's has over the past 5 . Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
Touch was used as a training method for both RU and RL worldwide. The first organised competition that took place was run by the South Sydney Rugby League club in the '60's. Hence the rules being more closely aligned to RL.Fred wrote: Sun Aug 06, 2017 11:07 am

It is a very useful and important part of RL participation and awareness.

Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
Of course it is
. Well at least since the nrl went into partnership with touch. Wonder what would have happened if union put up a better offer?
Yet you didn't address the point put forward ... it comes under union in other countries .

Re: Saturday Night Footyball!
A good start to Saturday night FTA for the NRL. Nine 261k + Fox 244 = 505k with regionals to come. Should total around 700k. No wonder Dave Smith signed up with 9 for permanent Saturday FTA before being rolled.
