I don't know. There has been a few in rl over the years as well. As the leading sporting body in the country the AFL has a responsibility. Is it the AFL administration that is racist ... no. Have the responded poorly in the past .. yes. Have they responded appropriately to a few racist supporters from the Adelaide game ... yes. Are there racist or at best ignorant people who follow AFL ... of course. It must be addressed and must be opposed on all occasions.... regardless of code or wherever it is encounted.

Well done to the AFL for their response and showing no tolerance. I think they have learned from their delayed response to Goodes and now are ready to be on the front foot.

racism wont stop in any sport because it wont stop in society. All sporting organisations can do is point it out when it happens and act appropriately.
