a guy yelling at a club runner to go back to chinese takeaway or some rubbish. Poor form, but on the flip side, someone taped him and handed it in to the authorities. These individuals are being identified and dealt with because the vast majority of the crowd wont tolerate such behaviour

Yes the ad was directed at all sports BECAUSE the issue is faced in all sports. Saying it's more prominent in AFL is pretty narrow minded. The last couple of AFL incidents have been isolated fans. So maybe there are 2 or 3 more racist fans attending the AFL compared to the NRL. Given our crowds are nearly 3 times more than yours that probably makes some sense.

The main thing is what the league an the rest of the fans are doing about it. So far these clowns have been made an example of and penalised.

by a lot more you mean a few individuals at various games. So the AFL's far bigger audience may have a couple more red neck bigots.

And Im not downplaying our racist minority, Im putting it in perspective given your claims our issue is far worse than any other Australian sport. basing that on a few individuals who have been reported by other fans is moronic. In fact the last NRL crowd issue was only reported because it was overheard by a friend of one of the players. How many similar incidents havent been reported?
