I showed him up as full Of shit with his
MORE GAMES ON TV crap .

It's the same shit on a loop .
I showed you what I meant yet youre still hiding behind your silly pedantic deflection.

How can the NRL be number 1 on TV when the AFL won the ONLY direct comparison 17 to 5? That doesnt even count the fact they also won every final. That would make it 26 to 5.

And you guys think the NRL is more popular :(/ :(/

it wasnt wrong, it only required clarification. So if that's the extent of your objection to my posts in this thread then I'm pleased the matter is settled

With crapper you have to avoid figurative speech or colloquialism... so if you say something like that guy is as big as the Empire State he will challenge you on that... but we all know crapper and try to accomodate

His a good egg though but hates AFL. Rest assured if the figures were reversed then he would be arguing the opposite. I see what you mean, like if something is shown 1 million times and gets a million viewers that does not mean it is doing better than something shown 10 times and getting half a million viewers.

which has been put into context multiple times. Yet rather than moving on and discussing the points raised you hide behind a post that was settled days ago. Grow some balls and discuss the facts I posted since then

So I think Nrol is saying , yes I see your point and reframed what I said to put it into context. Instead he feels you are going back to his original post which he feels he clarified.

So using the Empire State analogy if he had said it was as big as the Empire State ... and you go "no it isn't" and he says .. what I meant was it was big.... but instead of saying ... oh I see .... you keep coming back to "but you said ... you said "

so when you say its not settled, are you still unclear about more games and more available games? Because I made that clarification days ago and you seemed to understand the difference then. You even seemed to accept it given you said it was the fault of the AFL's scheduling. You didnt try to dispute the clarification.

I can see why you and LIC clashed so badly. You look for little holes in people's posts, and when they clarify them to put their view into context, or even admit their mistaken explanations, you just cant get past it. You bring it up again and again, ignoring all future points, despite the fact it's been explained.

Thhis is either trolling, deflection or you have issues.

A few rants back NlolNR, you claimed that the other 200 matches don't matter only the Friday night matches . And the excuse that you used was that these matches correspond.

Just further rubbish! the AFL showpiece is Friday night. The match is played at the MCG minus your bottom sides. they are not permitted in this timeslot - Last year 4 last I think it was 5 the year before - about 25% ie. its your match of the round. That is not the case with the NRL there match of the round is Friday/Thursday or even Wednesday.

Furthermore on your claim that these matches correspond. When I lined them up 1 on1, first round v first round, it was 5 to 7 for the first twelve matches. No No No But But But it should be 1st rd v3rd. or 4th whatever best suits your argument. You dismiss the opening round matches, despite the fact that the opening match of our competitions is actually something that is relevant. Then in the final rounds you make up some very rubbery regional numbers to try and prove your point . And what about Rd 25? that match rated as well as any club game this year , but you choose to ignore it.

And when I bring up facts like not all people are like us .There are NRL fans out there who will switch over after the league game and watch the final hour of the AFL especially if it's a good game. No No No just propanda but but but but AFL is king , I Know it is , just because, but but but

I think there are many variables that make direct comparisons difficult but do agree we should be comparing two games shown on the same night ... not round 1 v round 1.

Also think it is a good point that some would turn over to the AFL after the rl game had finished ... which just muddies the waters.

Not sure there is an easy way around this hence the ongoing debate.

We do know that they pay more for the AFL to rights that is a basic package of home and away plus finals ... whereas the nrl deals includes the soo which is the regular anual sporting event in Australia .... although the Melbourne cup may be more interwoven into the national psyche

Geez you're a waffler Fred!!!!!! Everything you say has a counter argument that proves you wrong. In any case this ratings argument is done, dusted, gone, finished and over. If you fumblers can't except the result that's your problem. Move on!!!!

It is very straight forward. very! Add up the ratings of both codes. Despite less matches the Rugby league wins by over 6 million. And that's without ratings from the NZ Warriors .
