Eels have played in front of 107,000 at that ground dickhead, plus have a 60k average at anz just for finals.

Idiot, you ran from those threads only to appear 12 months later peddling the same loser shit that you ran from.

Well this year, parra can only use anz numbers and your lot can only use spotless figures, sound fair you blithering little soccah bitch?

thought the crowd was fine considering the torrential rain. the pax was predicting 20k+ so its only natural for people to not show up. we've gotten a lot worse crowds due to the rain in the past, many were half that size. the scg trust should look at building a roof on that thing or at least increasing the cover instead of fitting in more seats because its current layout as far as a modern stadium goes is a disgrace....and despite all this, that a-league game still saw more people turn up than any nrl game in sydney this week aside from the rabbitohs, tigers game which despite being between 2 sydney teams, round 1, farahs return vs the tigers etc bla bla bla, still only drew 16k

3 months ago 19k people came to this game, and that was with no travelling fans because the victory fans were having a dispute with their club so no one made the trip. so the 13k comment is mesh

20k for this friday against the mariners doe! weather tba ofc

See the Adelaide lions game got a decent crowd in. If they have the grand final in Adelaide do you reckon they will have it at Adelaide oval ?

Was watching Offsiders this morning on the ABC and Caro mentioned the NRL crowd average for the weekend was just 12k and surely the NRL must be disappointed. She further pointed out that the AFLW in Adelaide last night had a crowd over 12k. Old Roy Masters had no comment. lol

Yep, was mentioned on Offsiders this morning that if Adelaide get the right to host, the final will be at Adelaide Oval.

Issues with the Lions if they finish top with Caro saying the AFL apparently wants the final as a curtain raiser to Suns vs Lions at Metricon Stadium. The Lions on the other hand are pushing hard for the final at the Gabba and reckon they could get 15k-20k.

Wow that's a low average for week 1. But the nrl we know do not get big crowds to their games in the whole. They say it is better on tv ... yet soo people choose to go and pack it out rather than watch on tv. I think they are not too worried as ratings brings in money however I do wonder how the nrl can make the game day experience an event so that people want to go.

Ummm most games were played at suburban grounds without much cover and it's been raining for 4 bloody days or more now.
