Just read your post and I think you are confused as to what I am saying. I initially said rl is as possibly as big in nz as rl is in Victoria ... meaning not very big at all. But then you commented that rl is much bigger than AFL and n nz. I agreed and do agree. I said rl is likely much bigger then AFL in nz given there is not too much rl apart from storm in Victoria with pretty much just players from nsw and qld. So we are agreeing.

The only thing that is obvious is your head in the sand that Rugby League has a decent following in New Zealand while AFL can't get a following.
If Rugby Leagues following is tiny in New Zealand like you claim. How did they end up having the number one team in the world?
Why have we got so many Kiwis in the NRL?

I think I was trying to have a go at the size of rl in Victoria. I know damn well that AFL is small in nz... minuscule. I know Rl has a good following in nz. I even, when questioned, clarified and stated I agreed? So I am not sure how it was read that I was saying anything negativr about the size of rl in nz but hey my fault and apologies as obviously a few took it that way. So my bad. My sole intention was to have a dig at the inroads rl has made into Victoria. But again, obviously it did not come across as this.

Personally, I could not care less about the size or popularity of rl anywhere outside Australia.

and then AFL Grand Final is played in Prime time into N.Z with nothing else on..
