Got paid more than others who had played all their lives .

AFL is a such a joke, funny how not one of their players has ever made first grade Rugby League.

I guess it must be hard knowing you have to actually be able to catch and kick over a cross bar in real codes. :(/

It would be a pay cut i think? I am sure if the right money wad offerred to a big AFL star they may be tempted... but the nrl would learn from the mistake the AFL made i think.

Yeah because league, the dumbed down simplified version from union is a really skilled game!
Throw or catch a 5 meter psd with a rubber ball & run with the ball under your arm.

There is a reason why leagues finest were out played by a bunch of kids in wooden spoon winning sides.

Saying claiming there is any skill in league is basically admitting you are retarrrd! Something that any non league fan will already be assuming of a league fan

Funny how NRL players are said to unskilled, yet for some reason AFL just keeps offering them contracts to play AFL.

From Johnathon Thurston to Darren Lockyer to Greg Inglis.

Kayln Ponger from the cowboys is even being given offers from the AFL to play for the lions.

And how about Kieren Jack. Played Rugby League throughout his teens and now plays for the Swans.

Such a breeze to play AFL with a Rugby League background

It would be too much of a risk too. Most AFL players would have to put on muscle mass to even get a start in Rugby League.

& learn to catch a ball
Learn to tackle
Learn to stay on the field ....no 100 interchanges in Rl

But most of all they would Havta give up the anorexia diet .
Lift some weights
Gain some strength .

It won't happen .
For the simple reason when they step out of the bubble they are shown up .

Would love to see a weight lifting contest between the sports .
Would end as well for the fumblers as when they tried to get in the boxing ring with RL players .
