Also kane tenace and sean russling are running sub 11 with 10.3 mentioned for both. But think that was before their AFL career when they were training for running.

He was clocked at training using gps. Bolts top speed was something like 45 kph and nic nat 36 or something.

Why do people ask for a link then when one is given they say... oh i need another as it doesn't fit with my opinion?

Anyway sean russling and kane tenace apparently ran 10.3 and 10.8. Not too bad.

Info bellow taken from an article written by Will Brodie on Sat 20 November, 2004 and includes comments from Collingwood football operations manager Mark Kleiman:

Second round pick (23), Sean Rusling, (189cm, 84 kilos), was something of a ‘smokey’, having not figured highly in pre-draft predictions, but Mark says ‘all the clubs were well and truly aware’ of his talents.

However, it seems the Magpies were more aware than most. Study commitments at Westminster College curtailed Sean’s tenure at the AIS and restricted him to just one reserves game at SANFL level, (which was necessary for him to qualify for the draft), but the Magpies ‘tracked’ him all of the year.

‘He booted 12 goals in one school game, so he knows how to find the ball.’ Mark says. ‘We tested him at the Lexus Centre…we did our homework.’

The AFL describes him as ‘quick and very athletic.’

Sean is 6 foot 3 in the old measurements, but he runs 400 metres in 50.1 seconds and 100 metres in 10.8 seconds. (Geelong's Kane Tenace, touted as the fastest player in the AFL, manages 10.7 seconds for 100 metres.)

Again, it is anticipated that Sean can play anywhere from half-back to half-forward and eventually on the ball.

Collingwood player development manager Derk Hine says:
‘He was out there for everyone to see, but we did a lot of work behind the scenes. Neil Balme and I went over to see him. The uneducated might think that he represents a punt, but this has been considered very carefully – we have gone into it with our eyes open.

We've done all the tests…we've done three interviews, Mick has interviewed him. We know everything there is to know about Sean. He would have been a punt for other clubs who didn’t know as much about him.’

So let's look at the article about NAT USAIN that Fred linked

The info about how fast he supposedly ran ....came from a teammate
Now there's a reliable source :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

“He broke a GPS record on the weekend did Nic Nat, he went 36.1km/h… Usain Bolt’s flying around out there," Schofield said.

Perhaps not quite the speed of world 100-metre record-holder and multiple Olympic gold medal-winner Bolt but not far off it.

Bolt runs the 100 metres at an average speed of 37.6 km/h, with a top speed over a shorter distance of 45km/h.

Now let's compare with Nat Usain with this info about GI
https://youtu.be/f7dT2NsJP6c
He runs 90 MTRS at 39 km/h
70 mins into a State of origin game .
While carrying a football .

According to the fumbler logic on here ...he would be faster than Nat Usain ..
Prob push the real Usain .

Do we think that .
Lol no
Are we that gullible to believe what Rabs says ..no
Gi is fast .
But nowhere near the fastest in RL .
Yet according to unverified info he is faster than Nat Usain .

Lol fumblers ...bringing the lols year after year .

And this which is just a comment but seemed informed and balanced and he does question dangerfeilds sub 11 so thought i would add.

James Walker ran a legitimate (as in at a proper aths meet not a BS questionable length hand timed grand final sprint) 10.88sec 100m while still playing at Freo. Also ran sub 11 when he was a under 18.

I've read various claims of Dangerfield having run 'sub 11' when younger but haven't managed to find any actual exact time, source, or evidence. Does seem plausible that he may have run like 10.9 pre-AFL though, if anyone has actual evidence I'd be interested to see it :)

I am not sure what you mean? I do not watch the footy show so not sure how the race was run or how the times were measured.

How has AFL shown its superior .
We've seen some dodgy media articles .

So any chance you can talk about the topic instead of of doing your usual off topic rant .
Now find some fumblers who can run quick .

even if i was off by 0.4 - it was still sub 11. And your article doesnt give that many instances of sub 11s at that. come back when you have something more substantial.
Ahh dickhead, hows about you think before you post in future. You said Dangerfield runs 10.8. The vid you posted shows Dangerfield at full pelt scraping in an 11.23
