These are just words but nothing in them. You ask for articles to prove a point them when given you just say no do not believe. So lets take the editorial out of what was said re comparing to bolt and look at the times. Thoughts on those times?King-Eliagh wrote:still laughing at the Nic Nat usain bolt comparison link you thought was worth putting up for us !! :_<> =D> Jolly good my clown,

It should be noted that running on grass is not optimal either so increses times... of course this applies to AFL nrl ru soccer tiddkewinks and so on.The_Wookie wrote:Maybe you should read the fucking title.King-Eliagh wrote:Alrighty me dumb AFL bowing down fukkstikks, lemme break it on down like James brown for you knobs.
The title of the thread - read it you maggotty brained fools.
The stats/links I've provided I.e numerous rl players running sub 11 hundred metres.
Now you got two options -
1. provide some proof the guys I put up are not faster than your skinny catwalkesque AFL prancers
2. Give us all a few of these ones![]()

when reality sinks in.
It wasnt "post the fastest NRL players while you go looking for the AFL ones". The OP and title both claim"Rugby Leagues quickest too fast for AFL." with no evidence whatsoever. All you did is more league numbers to it.
so you've got two options
1. Actually post some proof to back up the claim.
2. go on and on about how great you are and add nothing to the conversation.
Theres very little by way of direct comparison in terms of actual speed. There are AFL draft camp results which a 20m sprint, a 30m repeating sprint and a 3km time trial and some of those results are publicly available. For the NRL the results available for most start at a 40m.
The below are just for Newcastle
This lists 20m sprint times for the Newcastle Knights squad - averaged out to 3.05s with a range from 2.82s to 3.32s.
This lists the top AFL draft camp 20m sprint results from 2000 to 2015 and posts a range from 2.75s to 2.88s. The 2.75s time was recorded by Joel Wilkinson, an athlete who tranistioned to Australian football eventually with Gold Coast before moving to the NFL.
Again, not the best comparisons, so lets talk 100m sprints.
* Harry Cunningham apparently ran 10.81 in the 2012 Grand Final Sprint (heat 1)
* Patrick Dangerfield apparently ran 10.88 in the 2012 Grand Final Sprint (heat 2) and 10.84 in the final

* Majak Daw apparently ran a 10.78 in the 2015 Grand Final Sprint (heat 1) and 10.60 in the final.

In short, yes id say the AFLs fastest are at the very least comparable to the NRLs.

The times were recorded as they are. I think it said it that nic nats times would see him about 2 metres behind bolt. Which is a fair bit over 100. I will go back and read the article but am sure they said they measured it at training. Or should we only belive articles that support your thinking. Plus, i am just citing an article after you asked for such. I am sure if it was about an nrl player you would be finding all manner of ways to support it.King-Eliagh wrote:do you seriously believe Nic Nat runs a smidgeon of fun usain bolts top speed?

King-Eliagh wrote:Jesus, do you masturbate to posters of Dangerfield? We are talking about sprint times freddy not the population of danger fields home town ya bloody stalkerand you haven't provided a time for comparison. Nor have you provided a link
It's a completely failed post and you do need to lift your game.
But I'll be kind and hOnest with ya. I believe pat can run sub 11 seconds. But there's no way in hell he'd finish ahead of korobete. And if we matched him up against a fourteen year old James Roberts I reckon your fully developed adult man would have an outside chance. Put him against James Roberts today and paddy'd be yards behind.
So since you didn't provide a 100metre time for comparison I'll help you in ur inability to understand the bleeding obvious.
Dangerfield runs 2.92 seconds over a 20metre sprint.
We got a time for James Roberts over 40metres on the link I provided. It's 4.7 seconds.
I'll do the maths for ya too Freddie me boy :DI honestly don't think you or the other AFL lads in here would be capable.
If Dangerfield were as quick as Roberts he'd run his second 20metres in 4.7-2.92 = 1.78seconds. So let's keep using mathematics shall we. If danger fields second twenty were at 1.78 seconds he'd be running that 20 metres at a speed of 3600divided by (1.78X50) =40.45km/hour. Or about the same speed usain bolt averages during his second 20 metres in his 100metre sprint - as you can witness here

You think ur man paddys as fast as usain too? Like Nic Nat is??![]()

the delusion!! :_<> :_<>
Now answer the fukkin question. Do you think the alfs fastest are up to the same speeds as the nrls fastest??? That also goes for the lot of you turkey AFL supporters in hereanswer the question dummies
We shall now see the depth of character our AFL fans possess.
