Werent they owned by the league owner. Youre deluded if you think their astronomical success is coincidence. The swans could only dream of such success

Lol
You're avoiding the question .
Now why would that be.
& here's a fact that you obviously overlooked .
In the NRL clubs that go over the cap are penalised
The storm had 2 premierships taken off them for doing just that
Yet in the AFL certain pet clubs are allowed to spend more ...under different names
Cola
Retention allowance lol lol lol
Just to ensure their success .
You really have no fucking idea trying to compare the storm to the swans .
The swans success is built on the back of legalised cheating by the people who run the comp
The storms success had nothing to do with the NRL .
They were penalised for cheating by the people who run the comp
Therein lies the massive difference
You fumblers are so brainwashed or just plain stupid that you keep, ignoring the facts .

For all the assistance given to the swans theyve had nowhere near the success the storm has had. Thats the real demonstration of unfair assistance, success. COLA partly balances the go home factor which is ruining sides in non AFL states like the lions.

Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

Re: bulldogs members bring more fans to spotless than gws
They didnt i dont think. They did well to get some gun players and a coach who is a genious. Remember though that a lot of their success is clouded with the salary cap issue. How long was it going on etc. Would they have the team they have going forward f they did not have all that tainted success etc. Were they just unlucky to get caught... was/is everyone doing it?

Re: bulldogs members bring more fans to spotless than gws
The point I'm making is all teams get the same on field benefits in RL
& are penalised if they break the rules
In AFLOL it's the opposite for certain teams .
One comp is fair .
One is rigged

Re: bulldogs members bring more fans to spotless than gws
That"s one way of looking at it I guess. Others may see it differently. Certainly many think the giants got too much to offset their disadvantages so you are not alone there. Suns got similar but injuries and players leaving have been a big issue. I dont think the suns have any of their cobcession draft picks left now.
The giants have certainly used the system put in place to advantage ... and i believe the AFL did not see or think the giants would use it the way they did.
I think from next year all the salary cap concessions are gone for the suns and giants.

That AFL stupid bye week before finals
has really played into the hands of teams playing 4 straight in a row.

The Storm were given no advantages outside what any other club were given..
They RORTED the salary cap and were panelized for it
millions in fines
2 premierships taken from them
in 2010 from rd 3 Played for zero points.. for the entire season..
Swans received 1.2million above salary cap in concessions
If you belive what the AFL are doing is right
for the swans giants the suns and before them the lions..
How come no over sporting competition in the WORLD does this..
giving a leg up to a new established team...??????????????????
the swans are 30 years old and are still getting a leg up.. its just WOW

Theyve been at a distinct disadvantage due to being located in a non heartland state with a saturated sports market, combined with the highest cost of living. Australia's sporting landscape is unique given the number of sporting codes we have for such a small country. As i see it the swans have had mediocre success since moving to Sydney. The storm on the other hand...

The Storm are also disadvantaged in Melbourne..
the Sydney media are more open to other sports then Melbourne is (FACT)
Rugby league teams in Sydney get the same salary cap
to teams in QLD and other cities... (even knowing Sydney is a lot more expensive)
How do you explain the Extra Millions Brisbane Lions got..
3 G.F wins in a row.. Brisbane is not expensive..
Yes The swans had a shocking start to there existence in Sydney..
it wasn't until 1996 (Tony Locket got to them the G.F)
and the importance the #AFL realized of a Sydney team will be to the AFL
everything changed..
the AFL was played Live on TV
Swans received all these different extra funds etc etc..
