WHY RL POSTERS HATE AFL

Well we've just about heard it all,
AF inferior as a sport to RL
RL athletes are superior to AFL
AF started the code war
RL and soccer have traditionally lived side by side in harmony
AF lies to get what it wants
AFL is not good because the rest of the world doesn't play it.
AFL is depriving Australia of quality atheletes
AFL is only played by skinny white kids with no athletic prowess.
AFL is only played in Victoria

Add to this as much as you like but there is a common theme here folks - AFL

If it was as bad as what they say no one would watch it, go to games or play it? Yet they do.

If AFL is so in conflict with RL, RU and soccer why do those sports clubs regularly interact with AFL clubs? (And of course vice versa). Why in Melbourne do AFL stars attend their matches (and vice versa), Why are they friends off the field? Because they do and are!

If it's skill sets are so bad why do RU, RL and soccer clubs adopt training methods and do cross code training sessions?? Why is Nick Maxwell a skills coach at the Storm, Because they do and he is!

And lastly if it was really the domain of poor white skinny kids why are there names in the game at the highest level law, Alir Alir, Majak Daw, Basher Houli, Cyril Rioli, Paddy Ryder, Lewis Jetta, Silvani etc etc why??

Is it really an AFL v everyone else or in reality a Sydney intolerance thing??? After all all they have to do is turn the TV off or switch over to RL, After all isn't it only the unwanted uncoordinated skinny white kids that RL and Soccer don't want that are playing anyway???? Maybe we can get to the bottom of this hatred thing did it begin all those years ago when the Swans were moved to Sydney, does it go back to before footy and to seperate colonies?? These aren't the same as hating a game - I don't hate RL soccer, RU etc have a passing interest in all boardering on being disinterested but not hate - I respect that RL, RU and soccer people love their games and only want what's best but I don't care that they get bigger to coverage, money or crowds - E.g. I don't hate them - you however not only resent and loath anything to do with AFL but also hate a game - I want to know what's behind it!

I don't hate fumbleball ya mug lolololololol I just laugh at it lololololol. I love watching the fumbling 'athletes' falling over each other and fumbling the ball on the ground over and over and over again lolololoololol. I'll even watch the all Sydney fumble fest next week. It'll be exciting to see who Sydneys biggest and best fumblers are. There is nothing like an afternoon watching two teams of highly coordinated fumblers lolololololol. It's like watching a Marx Bros. or Monty Pythons move - funny stuff lolololol.

I was thinking that maybe it is inherent in the culture of the game. With there being a history of rivalry between rl and ru ... with ru once being the big brother and seen as the upper class game. Whilst AFL in traditional states does not have a class base, as is the main sport, in sydney AFL aopears to be more the middle to upper class game and filling the void left from ru.'s continued regression. So maybe its a kickback to the old ru v rl rivalry with rl being seen as working class and ru seen as the toffs ... just that AFL may be filling the void.
