Re: How West was lost
Yes and no, I believe there is a fairly good cross over between Wanderers and a number of WS NRL teams. So they may have impacted a little but there has always been a fairly good link between League/Union and Football.Thresher wrote:honestly the wanderers have had a much bigger impact on nrl than gws has

Agreed, now we just need to make your bloody NRL in-goals shorter so we get closer to the football action LOLAFLcrap1 wrote:Sokka & Rl have co existed for over a century in the northern states.

Re: How West was lost
Wasn't the RL making protests too - and for good reason disruption to the NRL and AFL seasons essentially handing over grounds and their fixturing to another code for no return. If you think that is a sensible business decision then you have problems! (Aside from the fact FIFA pay no tax, collect all revenue from advertising and demand only the brands they are sponsored by are visible and sold, sounds like a very bum rap for any would be host. But by all means if that you want for RL go right ahead, I am personally glad they did!!!!!AFLcrap1 wrote:Lol
