the challenge cup gets a footnote worth of a mention in the uk, maybe a small 2 paragraph snippet of preceding at the most in national news papers lol. the epitome of backwater competition. it is surely nothing compared to football.

having to pay football administrators at manchester united and the football association just to borrow the stadiums as RL can't afford their own and the fact that they are banished from using Union related stadiums just says it all

Haha! So says the spruiker of Australia's own backwater competition. If the Aleagues ratings get any lower they'll be competing with Iron Chef and the SBS test pattern lolololololol.

It is played at Wembley the National stadium where RL has been played since the 1920's, matter of fact liar the statues out the front seem to represent Rugby League as well as SOKKA, fucking liar, get hit by as car and become a para, I hate liars.

Around 4 million in TV ratings huh huh huh and somewhere around 90,000 in attendance, fuckwit.

A backwater final which drew a crowd of over 80,000 last year moron.

30,000 more than the A league grand final. :thumbleft:

While the actual sport that you follow (AFL)... can't even get a crowd in another country lol..

so none of what i said was false - which is the main point, 73k or whatever it was for a super league final lol, manchester united get a higher attendance than that every week at the same stadium - and 80k at wembley is even lower than what the second divison play offs get at wembley. how embarrassing it is to see you lot beat your chest about a backwater comp like the super league

even the a-league has a better average attendance than the uk super league lol - das when you know homie

Of course Soccer gets higher attendances in the UK. Did you just find that out? =D> . I will happily admit football is head and shoulders the biggest code in Europe.

But what Rugby League in the UK is a million miles ahead of AFL.
LOL AFL can't even get another nation to play their sport.

The crowd for the final was actually 83,000 last year for the challenge cup final. And the broadcast Value is 200 million pounds.

Now please tell me if the A league broadcast is worth more than 200 million pounds?

If the A league has ever gotten over 80,000 to to a final?

If your real love AFL has ever gotten a decent crowd for it's sport overseas?

As I thought. Your talking shit. =D> =D>

we the best and the biggest in the world kiddo DA BIGGEST
But what Rugby League in the UK is a million miles ahead of AFL.
are you saying the super league is miles better than the AFL? on what basis? because if its on revenue per club or via tv deal or via crowds then i must be missing something....
LOL AFL can't even get another nation to play their sport.
this is the second time youve mentioned AFL lol, that insta-defence mechanism ya got going there is shining through my boy - i couldnt give a rats ass about AFL
The crowd for the final was actually 83,000 last year for the challenge cup final. And the broadcast Value is 200 million pounds.
so basically what youre saying is that there were plenty of empty seats at wembley - well i agree!!!
Now please tell me if the A league broadcast is worth more than 200 million pounds?
i definitely dont think its worth 200m pounds a year - but we will see in a few months
If the A league has ever gotten over 80,000 to to a final?
haven't had the oppurtunity to play in a stadium large enough to challenge that figure when it comes to size...although curiously enough, opening round of this a-league season when wsw play sfc at anz is going to smash any regular season crowd the nrl has at that same stadium for this season
If your real love AFL has ever gotten a decent crowd for it's sport overseas?
dont follow it enough to know
