If they got the ability they can strive for Aust selection

Fair enough. But what if there ever reached a stage where say a wa side would be better than nsw or qld. They would have a good case thay they deserve to play instead. But it will never happen. Or do you think rl will one day have such a presence in other states?

On another note, who now misses out on soo due to playing first game not in either nsw or qld? Those who are stars and would make a team otherwise? I am sure there are some just not sure who

Not unusual - what if eventually RL gets 20 players who are in 1st grade from states outside nsw and qld? Do they play for nsw or qld??? Isn't better there is a side they can represent? After all if I came from Victoria - NSW or QLD would be the last place I would want to represent - but you most prob will never have this problem to worry about.

When rugby league does eventually expand to perth for example and they do have a number of players

I do not expect an origin team out of perth.

Even if there was 50 players there
Should never happen.

So what happens with those players they miss out???? Considering the Australian side is picked from SOO does that mean potentially you have a player not getting picked?? Or does it become SOO in name only where players outside of those states put on a foreign jumper? That makes it contrived don't it??

the players do come from there, but it does not mean if you do not play SOO you cannot play for Australia

Why do players knock back huge $$$$. From rival clubs to stay at their current one ?
There's loyalty
Settled with family around
A chance at a premiership
A chance to play rep footy

The same with moving clubs for less $$$

Money is not everything .

There's gotta be some who think that a chance to be playing for your country is a bigger reward than money .

Haven't you argued that Folou and Hunt were such great successes in the AFL for the sole reason that they made so much money, and id love to hear how you know with such certainty that no AFL player is willing to try league, how many of them do you know?
