What's even funnier is so many players still miss despite AFL having the largest goal kicking area of any sport in the world.

Which ever way you look at it. Kicking towards 3 goals sitting next to each other with no crossbar is the easiest way to score a goal of any football code.

AFL IS PISS EASY WHEN IT COMES TO GOAL KICKING. YOU ALWAYS GET AT LEAST ONE POINT LOL. =D> =D>

And you clowns call that skillful?? But wait, it does'nt matter if you drop the ball in AFL either. Just pick it up and play on lol... :(/

Personallt i think the point in AFL adds so much to the game. It both rewards and can be punishing.

Would it not be harder to score under a cross bar? Particuarly where you can have opponents on the goal line. And unlike soccer it can not be touched?

Rl is a totally different game. If anyone thinks it is easy to score a try or kick a goal in AFL then they are just being silly.

And aserious question.. In the 9s in nz was it the case where they did not have adesignated kicker and the accuracy was poor ? It is my recollection but nit sure if right.

Seriously Fred how can you compare the skill to fall on the ground with the skill required to kick a ball with accuracy?

It is definitely a lot easier to kick a sherrin than a steeden (distance and accuracy)

The school system is following the AFL scoring system

If you don't come 1st 2nd or 3rd

you get a reward for participating -- a point for trying in AFL terms lol

absolute joke.

the argument has been broken down by idiots to which is physically easier. No context is given to other factors which make scoring more difficult.

RU, RL, Soccer, hockey and ice hockey have rules that make the game low scoring

AFL, basketball, cricket, netball etc have rules that make the game higher scoring. How difficult it is to score is really irrelevant because the aim is not merely to score, its to outscore your opponent.
