There has ben 7 live games(formally delayed games) so far this year. This accounts for half of the extra fans .

Opening game 2015 was 1185k (including 40 from SKY) this year 1241k (without sky).

thats not exactly a 20% increase. In fact its pretty minimal given the accuracy of ratings

I've been watching less games this, didn't even bother with the Melbourne game last week, first Parra game I haven't seen in years, the NRL needs to tell 9 to butt out and the NRL needs to go through every single club and make sure they are all complying with the rules regardless what or where the club is based. For too long we have seen the likes of unsupported clubs in Sydney with deep pockets run the game along with their rich mates from up North. If things were as even as they pretend they are, teams like the roosters wouldn't exist.

The Roosters buy players but they let plenty go each year! There a well managed club.

For a marquee game only played in sydney twice this year you would hope it sells out. This is the biggest game/s of the year. Looking forward to it.

Who's biggest game?

It is not, it is a rep game we have during the year every year, there are plenty more bigger games to come, like battling to make the 8, making the 8 and staying there, winning semi finals and the final, then WCC and International honours. SOO is a good money earner, that's it. Might be good for some promotion into new territories outside Australia, but it'd be easier to set up a 9's comp and invite teams to partake in it rather than watching a game on TV and learning from that.

Serious question: Is the game at ANZ tomorrow sellout yet? and how long has the tickets been on sale? because it seems it has for a while now
