Im amazed how you AFL lovers slither & slime , Try to change the subject whenever your faced with the billion dollar issue.
Im amazed at how you think tv rights are the only thing that matters.

Not the only thing but the main thing.

With more viewers watching Rugby League it gives a pretty clear indication as to which code is more popular.
Bullshit.

Actually what the figures this year are telling us, is that previous years figures probably favoured the AFL by a fair margin since we never ran an estimated figure along side the published ones before we never really had a baseline for Victorian regionals to include. And the only reason the NRL are even close this year is due to extra games on Fox and NZ.

But yeah its all tv ratings

Never mind that AFL attendances are on average twice that of the NRL, never mind that its popularity is also reflected in sponsorships that are twice the value of the NRLs or that its tv deal is consistently rated higher than the NRLs, not to mention radio rights, and memberships or the fact that the AFL generates almost as much from non tv rights streams as it doest from tv rights.

All about the tv.
Whats bullshit'? the NRL are up 9million and that without NZ this year. The live game instead of the delayed game accounts for half of that.

If more people are watching something, it means its more popular than the other event.
BS, You now have every game shown live on foxtel which means your fox ratings are well up. Yet you highest rating games are around the same as previous years. It isnt more popular, its more available so the same fans are watching more games
The 3 extra PTV games are simulcast. While PTV increases CH9 share decreases.

Our games on FTA are up about 70k for a live game and about 670k on a delayed game.

Our crowds are up - our ratings are up, 25% on overnight figures. so think up another but but
excuse. (try one that makes sense).

roy masters :(/ :(/ :(/
the ultimate flog that will pick and choose statistics & not tell the full truth that goes along with

his numbers are BS when compared to wookies charts & when it comes to fox tell AFL has the highest superscription rate (there is an article that proves this but i cannot find it) pretty funny when AFL has more games on FTA than the NRLOL

2016NRLRatings_R11.png
the ratings in SA & WA are the real drivers in pumping the NRLOL ratings up if you check out the average figures SA are 2k up to 6k & WA 7k to 10k :_<>

roy is a bitter old full that has claimed murdoch payed $300 to $500 million over for the AFL rights :(/

the stupid old full cant still grasp why and how the NRLOL is worth less than the AFL :\:
err I hate to burst your bubble but the increases in SA and WA have little if anything to do with the fact their ratings are up nationwide by millions. The increase is in total ratings so a large increase in WA and SA wouldnt make a schick of difference
Let him go hes having fun :-$

Your foxtel ratings are up overall due to more subscriptions which has been driven by more games on fox.

Your delayed game is now live and shown in isolation. It also helps that your STANDOUT biggest club is again near the top. How do NRL fans put up with the Broncos only missing 2 final series in 28 years? :(/

Theres your increase right there

No pussy your double counting RD 10 contained a double header the Total attendance for that round was 142456, which means their actual average is 16347 but I will concede that they are up on last year!

Your an idiot there was one game following the other and the NRL put out the attendance of 52323! It doesn't mean there is double the crowd as only the one crowd turned up! FFS the rampant stupidity!

Even if you were right - and your not. It would still be an increase on last year. Besides there is no way a crowd average would fall by so much by taking out 1 game. [-(

No, same viewers, but now watching foxtel instead of FTA. Why do you think your FTA ratings have dropped?
