Putting words into peoples mouths again slinky, no where was it mentioned that either lad played at the highest level or that their Australian football back ground had helped facilitate their rise to the NFL, it was merely pointed out that here was 2 fine Victorian boys with a strong aussie rules back ground making all of Australia proud with their exploits in the largest Football league in the world.AFLcrap1 wrote:Fuck off .
I searched
I was looking for what AFL clubs he'd played for .
Answer NONE .
& you conveniently overlook the bit where GOTIS played Rugby as well & basketball .
But it was fumbleball that got him a gig Ove there .
So now it's if a player ever played as a junior .
Well that's shifting the goal posts .
That's nothing new
Look up Jesse Williams

Waived by the Seahawks March 9, didn't play a single snap in 2013 but received a ring for being on inactive injured reserve. Cheerleaders also receive Superbowl rings.AFLcrap1 wrote:Jesse Williams (born 2 November 1990), nicknamed "Tha Monstar",[1] is an Australian defensive tackle who is currently a free agent. Williams played college football for the University of Alabama, where he was a starter on the defensive line for the 2011 and 2012 national championship teams. The Seahawks chose him in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Although he has spent the majority of his career on the injured reserve list, Williams became the first Australian to win a Super Bowl ring as a member of Seattle's 2013 team.
Williams was born on Thursday Island, Queensland, to Indigenous Australian parents, and raised in Brisbane, attending Norman Park State School and Cavendish Road State High School.[2] He grew up playing rugby league and basketbalL
It would appear that a background in Rugby League is almost a guaranteed of failure at any sport in the world other than Union and lets be honest that more or less the same thing.

1 .yes you did . ....you rambled about playing AFL but ignored where he played other sportsThe_Wookie wrote:1. I didnt overlook shit.
2. You rugby folk interchange AFL with any fucking Australian football competition all the time. How the fuck was I to know what specific bullshit you were on about.
We can add Lachlan Edwards to the list of former australian footballers in Victoria, and Joel Wilkinson who was an initial recruit for Gold Coast Suns.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joel_Wilkinson
2.you might know if you read the fucking thread instead of just jumping in .
It was
5 pages discussing NRL or AFL players ..not juniors not someone who possibly played when young .
Soon it'll be . He played Auskick once at school .
Funny how other sports played are ignored but it's all because of fumbles & bumbles .
So many lols

Yes I did ask what AFL club GOTIS played for
Still awaiting an answer
& well done on ignoring my other points .
This whole thread was page after page discussing AFL players V Hayne playing in the NFL
Now it's degenerated into if some player had a go in the juniors .

This whole thread has been about KE and yourself trying to save face after repeatedly making the claim here and in other threads that Hayne had made such a great success of his venture into the NFL and that his success far out weighed anything achieved by the many former AFL exports to take up the game.AFLcrap1 wrote:Yes I did ask what AFL club GOTIS played for

The whole basis for your theory has been that Hayne being a star in the Nrl had contributed to his success and in fact was the only reason he had been able to reach the NFL, and now that the experiment is over and hes had to resort to playing for Fiji in the 7s, very badly I might add, you KE and Hayne are all running and hiding with your tail between your legs.
The point of posting the names of the young Victorians now in the NFL was to highlight the many holes in your narrative, ie heres 2 young Victorian lads with decorated college careers behind them, plying their trade in their chosen sport at the highest level. The fact they grew up playing Aussie rules but got no where near the highest level was to emphasise the holes in your story. Hayne on the other hand is gone, unable to pick up the finer points of pass protection, not nearly smart enough to understand a play book and now just a foot note when compared to the many other Australians who have had actual success in the NFL.

I am sure more than one player was mentioned.
And Axe ... Agree with your overview. Well written and addressing the point without vitriol and just outlining facts.

Cheers boys, it really did seem obvious from the first post that this thread was going to be an attempt to re write the facts to suit crapper and co's worn out narrative, even now as seen in his latest post hes still desperately clinging on.Fred wrote:AFLcrap1 wrote:Lol .

As a long time follower of the NFL and all things considered Hayne did quite well, much better than I ever believed he would, but to consider his stint a success is drawing a very very long bow. As I posted earlier, if you cant pass bloke out of the back field and your getting your QB killed on a regular basis your done, doesn't matter if its Blaine Gabbert or Tom Brady. And even a basic understanding of the play book would help.
