No I'm afraid not in this case. Hayne actually played the game. Your lads sat ran on kicked and ran off. The media and YouTube show who made the greater achievement. And once again it ain't those AFL lads

Hail the great Jarryd hayne Xman. Give him his due acknowledgement like everyone else does you jealous little toAd.

I still can't believe you guys brought up Darren Bennett

I wonder who an NFL team would value higher, Hayne or Bennet?
Would have to be the person that played in a super bowl - I.e. Bennett

What's worse is he hardly played for Fiji in the 7's but was right up the front with the cup - they recon he will struggle to get picked - what an absolute spud!!!!! If he's the best of league then I really really pitty the rest, their boarder line to get disability allowances!

I wouldn't rate hayne up there with folau and hunt, those AFL failures made the cross to Union successful! Haynes next career should be a spud farmer

Lol
The jealousy of RL athletes by the fumblers on here is hysterical .

Calling him a failure after one game of sevens .
Lol

At least our athletes can go to multiple other sports & play at the top level .

What do you mean one game he sat on the bench for most of the game and is widely predicted to get little if any time IF he makes the team, I.e. Spud!

Adam Gotsis 193cm 127kg, Georgia Tech- Drafted round 2 63 overall 2016 NFL draft Denver Broncos
Tom Hackett 180cm 84kg, Utah- undrafted free agent signed by New York Jets 2016, 2 time Ray Guy award
winner 2014, 2015.
Melbourne born and breed, grew up playing Australia's game. Nrl's finest unable to make the grade in the AFL or the NFL it would seem, best they stick to the big stage in front of 8000 odd people on a Monday night at Parra. Spine tingling stuff.

Fuck off .
I searched

I was looking for what AFL clubs he'd played for .
Answer NONE .
& you conveniently overlook the bit where GOTIS played Rugby as well & basketball .
But it was fumbleball that got him a gig Ove there .

So now it's if a player ever played as a junior .

Well that's shifting the goal posts .
That's nothing new

Look up Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams (born 2 November 1990), nicknamed "Tha Monstar",[1] is an Australian defensive tackle who is currently a free agent. Williams played college football for the University of Alabama, where he was a starter on the defensive line for the 2011 and 2012 national championship teams. The Seahawks chose him in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Although he has spent the majority of his career on the injured reserve list, Williams became the first Australian to win a Super Bowl ring as a member of Seattle's 2013 team.

Williams was born on Thursday Island, Queensland, to Indigenous Australian parents, and raised in Brisbane, attending Norman Park State School and Cavendish Road State High School.[2] He grew up playing rugby league and basketbalL

1. I didnt overlook shit.

2. You rugby folk interchange AFL with any fucking Australian football competition all the time. How the fuck was I to know what specific bullshit you were on about.

We can add Lachlan Edwards to the list of former australian footballers in Victoria, and Joel Wilkinson who was an initial recruit for Gold Coast Suns.

Racially abused :(/ whats new. :(/

So guys who played AFL at the lower levels but could not make it at the elite level are getting a gig in the nfl? Interesting.

You can be pretty much assured that if they grew up in melbourne there exposure to playing rl would be minimal and not a high standard. Union a bit more plausible if in private school.
