All Hail the Great - Jarryd Hayne!

Post by King-Eliagh »

Dearest Members,

Lets take some time this evening to sit in silence, bow our heads and reflect in reverence of the Great - Jarryd Hayne.

Today news came out that Jarryd is likely preparing to represent Fiji in the Rugby 7s at the Olympics. He's doing this after:

a) Saving backpackers from certain death in wild seas off the Sydney coast back in 2012
b) Dominating the sport of Rugby League at Club, State and National Level
c) Dominating last years NFL pre season like no other athlete from the AFL nor RU have ever been capable of before or will ever be capable of in the future

What a remarkable and brave character. One who'm the AFL lads and laddettes will never be able to go close to producing.

It's true and you know it mah biatches :\: :_<>

Yours,
King

dominated the NFL by playing 8 games. Meanwhile Darren Bennett played over 150 games, made pro-bowl twice, made all-pro twice, and was voted into the NFL's 1990's all-decade team

You're hilarious

You're hilarious
:_<> Laughable, just laughable.

This is the extent of Darren Bennet in the NFL.

Run on. Kick.

Run off. Sit.

And repeat.

I'm sorry Xman but giving it the ol heave ho and running off without getting into the rough stuff is just not as respected as someone who gets involved in running and defensive plays in the NFL. I know you'd love it to be so for your own code' sake... but it just aint so bro :(/

But please lemme pay my respects to Darren Bennet a name I'm sure will go down in Australian sporting history as... well I'm finding that hard to say but lemme just pay my respects ok. Ahem... Ahem .... Ahem... excuse me. Ok here goes....Darren Bennet... My oh my he could kick a ball... the end.

still accomplished more than what Hayne did!
Hayne struggled to catch the ball! all he could do is run with the ball under his arm, like in league :(/

Hayne must have made a great impact on the NFL to play 8 games then be delisted, then quit when he was due to be delisted by his second club

Darren Bennett?
You mean this Darren Bennett right? The guy in the San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame?
He is a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team, the San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame, the Chargers 50th Anniversary Team and the Chargers 40th Anniversary Team. He was also a two-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time All-Pro selection. After 10 seasons with San Diego (1994-2003), he finished his career with the Minnesota Vikings (2004-2005). Bennett played 159 NFL games, an Australian record.
Or maybe you got him mixed up with Ben Graham
Graham became a mainstay on the NFL scene as a punter and, after becoming an NFC champion, made history in 2009 when he became the first Australian to feature in a Super Bowl, which his side, the Cardinals, lost 27-23 to the Steelers. Graham also holds the distinction as the only person to play in an AFL grand final (in 1995 with Geelong) and an NFL Super Bowl. Between 2005 and 2012, Graham played 99 games for the Jets, New Orleans Saints, Cardinals and Detroit Lions. Graham captained the Jets at one stage, too, which also made him the only person to captain an NFL and an AFL team.
Or maybe Saverio Rocca
he tried his hand at the American game in 2007 and made a success of himself with 112 appearances as a punter for the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins over seven years (2007-2013). Lost the 2008 NFC Championship match to fellow Australian Ben Graham's Arizona Cardinals and was therefore denied the chance to play in a Super Bowl. Broke the NFL record for the oldest rookie when he strutted out for the Eagles as a 33-year-old on debut.
or any number of other AFL players (Brad Wing played for Sandringham in the TAC Cup, Matt McBriar played local footy in Victoria) who actually were successes in America. Im sure the seven games Hayne played were great though...
Errrrmmm....aaahhhhh :-k

Ummmm. Oh.... Well ahem... * cough cough. Can ya show us their highlight reels then Wooster Ol chummy Ol pal? :(/

Run on.

Kick.

Run off.

Sit. :(/

 Woodsie I just searched Darren Bennett nfl highlights on YouTube and you basically get an interview with him and nuttin else's. :(/

It's worse than I expected folks!!! But wait I did find a lil somethin on that search  sav rocca highlights!!!

Folks viewer discretion must be advised here. This has got to be the most mundane lacklustre shitty/may cause death thru utter boredom highlight reel I've ever seen in my life.... And this is what the AFL knobjockeys in here are ranting and raving about in comparison to Jarryd Hayne in the nfl!!!   :_<> :_<> :_<>

Again be careful with viewing folks. I lasted a minute and felt my heart rate drop to about 6 beats per min. I'd actually strongly advise against watching but , if you must , take care. It's minutes of your life you'll never get back :lol:https://youtu.be/w8iL9tRlzwQ
