yep, youve claimed victory on Thursday and Monday night when the AFL dont schedule regular games. Youve claimed victory against individual games on Sunday that arent shown nation wide

Youre completely ignoring any genuine comparison such as Friday night

Youre gutless

Im pretty sure the players would love it
Ive heard a fair few articles discussions about it

What a rivalry it would be
The best of the Victorian clubs in 1 team
Repesenting your state..
Instead of suburb lol lol

Oh well AFL'S lost

NRL'S gain..

All the nrl need to do now is play it as a stand alone month.
Surrounded by other events

So it protects the NRL H&A season

when we had SOO players pulled out left right and centre because they valued their club way above SOO. The NRL have a perfect setup with players from two strong states but no players from the other 4. The AFL have players from 5 states so no matchup is realistic

Puddy, TV ratings for home and away friday night games. A game when both codes have a single game shown in isolation both on FTA and payTV. This is the only genuine comparable game of the weekend. Are these figures incorrect or not?
The figures You posted are absolute garbage.

The highest Rating Thursday game this year was - Parramatta v Brisbane 1.3m.
The highest Rating Friday game this year was - Australia v NZ 1.5m.
The highest rating Sunday game this year was 980k Cronulla v Brisbane
The highest rating Monday game this year was 319k Cron v Melb

The Highest rating PTV game this year is N Qld v Parra 360k

The largest ratings increase this year is the NRL up about 25%
Please point out which of these Friday night game ratings is incorrect:
1, AFL rnd 7 FN 1.34m
2. AFL rnd 5 FN 1.322m
3. AFL rnd 2 FN 1.215m
4. NRL rnd 5 FN 1.169m
5. AFL rnd 6 FN 1.139m

They show the AFL absolutely dominating this years ratings

I only looked at the top 2. Sorry to burst your bubble but according to twitter there both incorrect.

Rd 5 its 1.271
Rd 7. 1.125

I meant rnd 8 sorry not rnd 7, as in last friday. It rated near 1.1m without regionals

Rnd 5 was 1.322m, Wookie has the figures

Combining Fox, metro and regionals last night was only 722 FTA + 208 STV = 930k

more poor results for nation-wide prime time ratings for the NRL.

but but but......

Barely over 900k is very average for a game shown nationally against no other sport. Look at those fox ratings. Again they show how average the NRL rates on Fox when shown against FTA. The AFL is rating almost 300k under the same circumstances

I'm not talking about Saturday Night, I'm talking Thursday/Friday nights. The only AFL nights that rate the ones restricted to just 13 Teams , 14 teams last year and 15 a few years before that. You have a very lopsided completion and its only getting worse. The reintroduction of tanking might be the way to go. Please, Tell me again how well you rate on a Riday night :_<> :_<> :_<> .
