Then there's no arguing with you - you don't even understand the premise of the thread - relevance as I have said and used the Melb cup as an example is not defined purely by TV ratings - MKR is the highest rating show on tv yet that doesn't mean it's relevant to all Australians the same way as Neighbours which I would is more relevant even if not watched because most people could tell you something about the show I.e. That it is on Ramsey St, that can't be said of MKR as many could tell you anything about it.AFLcrap1 wrote:Lol .
I've admitted the Melb cup is big .
It's the rest of your retaaaardedd list that's laughable .
So stop deflecting from your ACC day game .
& can you tell me how relevance is shown across Aistralia for an event?
If it's played in SYD ..then 1 million people from WA aren't going to go to it .
There's only a limited number of seats .
The only other gauge of interest is viewers on TV .
But that argument destroys yours .
So you rant against it .
Same goes for SOO in the southern states - a lot of people can't even tell you what code of rugby it is - but everyone in the northern states know what AF is who are its players the basic premise of the game e.g. Relevance - it is not about tv ratings because that doesn't tell us who is watching or why they are watching. This year those very same ratings may plummet in the southern states - then what have you got??
