If i lived in bleak city even I'd go and watch rabble ball......I mean.....what else is there to do?? As my 'ol uncle used to say, "I've been to Melbourne a dozen times, but it was only opened twice!!!". LOLOLOLOL.

Wipe the blood off ya nose Chuckyxman, take the meds.......and off to bed ya poor simpleton!!!
so how do you explain AFL crowds of 35k, 50k, and 35k in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney? Are these also bleak cities? :\:

Perth and Adelaide???....fair dinkum Chuckyxman you drive 10 km in any direction and you're in the desert......LOL........those poor devils will go anywhere to take their mind off their dreary little lives. And the Sydney rabble baller crowds are all expatriates, women and alternative life stylers. They're all like you.......rabble ball zealots. They faithfully go to every game to appease the great God Rabble Ball.....LOL. Take out the crowd and no one else cares!!!!!

10kms. Wow, you certainly know your geography. Have you even been outside of western Sydney?

Your but but excuses are very very common amongst pea-hearted RL fans. Too cold, too hot, too much else to do, too far away, too much traffic, too expensive etc etc.

No wonder your crowds are less than half ours

The AFL make as much money from non-TV revenue as they do from TV. Crowds are the major reason for this. So yes it is important. Shame for you that your code lags miles behind

another game likely to be well under 1m. The crowd was even worse for a local derby #-o

The only time I watch RL is to laugh at their empty stadiums. You reckon you watch more AFL than me? LOL

What's this got to do with ratings??

the few times I watch RL I just shake my head at what a one dimensional bore it is. Run, throw, tackle. Rinse and repeat.

What has this discussion got to do with ratings?
