ROUND 7 TOTAL 3.862m Sunday Reg missing

NRL 2016 ratings after 7 rounds 28,209m without NZ Sky which were 1.249m after 7 rounds in 2015.

NRL 2015 ratings after 7 rounds 24,616m - of which 1.249m is from NZ Sky = 23,367m

Effectively the NRL is up about 5million when we do a like for like comparison to last years figures.

Cant be explained anymore simpler than that boys.

NRL 2015 up 5%
AFL 2015 down about 9%

NRL 2016 After round 7 up over 20%
AFL 2016 After round 4 down about 5%

=D> =D> :_<>
well done, a significant schedule change has given you a healthy increase in TV ratings. But as I showed you, your peak audience like on Sunday afternoon is actually lower :)))

Shame the AFL still have the highest prime time and non prime time rating games, and also the most revenue from TV :\:

You're a dead set dill xman!! Now you're agreeing the NRL has had the increase stated after point blank denying it. You're just a rabble ball flunky desperately trying to talk up your little southern game.

I suggest you don't read the papers in the next few weeks. At some stage there is going to be an article something along the lines of "NRL massive ratings jump, smashing AFL". You'll be apoplectic....keep the medication on standby you poor thing. LOL....

if you had any comprehension skills at all you'd see I have said from the start that theyve had an increase but it is due to scheduling changes. The maximum rating games which are comparable to last year, like FN and Sunday, remain about the same or lower.

I cant make it more fucking obvious than that you imba

Now how about you answer a question instead of deflecting. If the NRL is number 1 on TV why did last nights AFL game rate more than any home and away NRL game in the last few seasons?

This is what I'm getting at. Like for like does not represent a 20% increase. The change is due to scheduling changes only

youve compared 9 rounds with 2 missing regionals to 7 rounds with 3 missing regionals :(/

I compared the first 5 rounds that included all metro and regional ratings from both seasons, and the NRL's Sunday match has decreased in ratings.

Your increase is due to Thursday nights live game rather than a delayed game on FN, and an overall foxtel increase. Why has foxtel increased? Well if you increase to 8 live games from 5 you will obviously get an increase in subscriptions. So your payTv audience is now larger than last year.

But is your overall audience larger than last year? Your FN and SU games suggest not

Fair dinkum xman you're like the knight in Monty Pythons Holy grail. You're totally beaten but you keep coming back. You're the only man in the world who can argue that a 20% increase isn't actually an increase LOL. I hope you're not an accountant.....you'd be outta work......LOL.

The way it's going the NRL is gonna smash that unskilled rabble ball they play in Melbourne and the desert states. LOL put the medication on standby xman.....LOL.......

FMD Ive said the NRL have increased ratings multiple times, but its due to scheduling :[]

But if you think thats awesome good for you. The AFL still get more money and more viewers when comparing similar games

As for smashing the AFL, you might wanna look at fox at the moment. About 5k watching the NRL in Sydney while 30k+ are watching the AFL at the SCG. Excuses? Weather? Traffic? :(/

No you didn't xman. First you said Wookie was getting his numbers wrong. Then you said simulcasting was about the counting not the audience......whatever that brainless drivel means LOL. Now you've belatedly conceded, thrown your hands up, put up the white flag.....LOL.

So.......you change the subject!!!!!!!! LOL. You're a bumbling buffoon!!!! Bring on the ratings figures.......woohoo!!!!!

Wookies figures are still wrong, but anyway, he'll sort them out when he sees he's adding them incorrectly

Not sure what youre on about with simulcasting

Conceded? LOL No. I've said from the start that the different scheduling would increase ratings. What they havent done is increase you maximum audiences since the AFL are still dominating

And no, not changing the subject to crowds. its part of the thread topic and is relevant to your point about the NRL smashing the AFL. Theyre struggling to do it in their own heartland :(/

They haven't increased maximum audience but they're up 20% overall????? How does that work xman. You might want to check the dictionary for the meaning of maximum and minimum......you don't appear to grasp the concept you poor bugger!!!!

You're still saying more is less.......LOL. Which way is up xman? whats the difference between full and empty? win and lose? up and down? in and out? You appear to be clueless. I feel sorry for you!!!!!! Thankfully I'll get over it quickly......LOL>

Im comparing the first 7 rounds this year with the first 7 rounds last year . The number 9 (typo) should read 7. Yes, 2 missing regional to 3, But the 178 viewers on sky would cancel out the extra regional figure.

Any increase from foxtel will be felt on 9 FTA coverage. That's why Fox pay CH9 to simulcast.

As said previously the extra live games account for some but not all of the difference.

11k for the NRL in Sydney today from one of their bigger teams. 35k for the Swans in Sydney.

Any excuses throwballers?

How do you think? Your maximum audience last year on Friday nights regularly saw 1.2m watch, yet this year youve only had 1 game in that range so far. Your Sunday games are rating less compared to last year. How is that an increase of 20%. If you cant understand that youre a moron. The AFL have again had the biggest regular season game ratings of the year, after only 5 rounds, so how has your 20% increase affected the AFL?

Who said the massive 20% increase effected rabble ball Chuckyman?? Who cares about rabble ball except you and your desert state mates. The NRL is up 20% and rabble ball is down 10%......FACT.

The same bubble dwellers will watch rabble ball after rabble ball game.......it's kinda like the poor devils have got Stockholm syndrome......they really haven't got a choice.

And you poor silly bugger....you're on about maximum audience ad nauseum????? Maximum audience is the total amount of people watching the game each week......because ......well....that's what maximum is......the most. You can cherry pick whatever you like but it just dosen't stack up Chuckyman.......you've got a continual bloody nose mate. Call in the cut man.....you're done mate.
