Well they'll be up this year because teams with support are winning.

The last 5 or so years has seen teams like Manly, Roosters, Melbourne, Nth QLD, Souths all at the top or near it, time to give the teams with some support a go. I also agree about the RL average crowd, at our highest we had all games played on a Saturday or Sunday with 1 Friday night game, now we have Thursday, Monday, Friday, Saturday night plus the occasional Sunday night game too, all things considered as well as all games being shown live on TeLieVision, the NRL isn't actually in a bad place and will actually have a better average in the years to come when they dump some of these stupid schedules and get back to weekend footy.

All your usual dribble thickshit no1 cannot change the fact the nrlol teams are pathetic minnows

this season isnt even 1/3 through yet so theres no use comparing, especially prior to your SOO period which dips the crowds every year. Im talking about the last few years where the NRLs home and away season average has dropped steadily.

Why has that happened if the memberships have increased steadily?

I would much sooner have a slight drop in crowd numbers and a huge rise in tv ratings( this year 20%), Then have a continual decrease in tv ratings like the AFL has.

And as said before . Once Monday night is dropped, from next year , and off the back of a massive increase in viewers, an upgrading of stadiums. Our crows will increase and increase and eventually you will run out of but but excuses. who am I kidding? you will never run out of but but excuses.

Yeah AFL will never be a good tv product. The commentators sound like they are calling a horse race and the untidy nature of the game makes it just poor viewing.

Even heard AFL want to move their Grand Final to nights now to try compete with the NRLs.

AFL is a better game watching live at the ground for sure, yet still gets the highest rating home and away game and highest rating fox game every year. Effectively both codes are close on TV. The NRL doesnt even come close in crowds though

Yes very poor start to freo indeed, especially when in last couple of years they have been a powerhouse side. They are in unfamiliar territory, they'll get thing back together soon hopefully.
