And you no doubt have proof - well para as you and your bi polar friend like to fire at me post proof that Sydney's membership list is made dead fans etc - otherwise your a liar hypocrite! See this is the problem with RL posters and fans you've had so long telling yourself that your this and your that that you get upset when shown that your not! I don't give a shit about to ratings IN SYDNEY nationally the Swans do well they also do well where it counts - they have had 4 years straight of profits not an 8 mil loss - they have increased membership every year (even when they weren't in the 8) they have had the same sponsor for 30 years, they have started and run their own Academy - these things were done in the hardest market in the world where's Paramatta has had it easy - home town market - access to unlimited juniors and a sympathetic press and still it has fucked up! And while we're at it by all means tell me what percentage of your precious TV ratings are para fans - what you can't? That's because no one can so what does it mean to your bottom line aside from your NRL distribution - not very much.ParraEelsNRL wrote:Haha they have both you drop kick, any pro footy comp in the world has the NRL as one of the top Leagues.
Oh and the 3rd biggest football code on Earth.
We at Parra don't have a membership list for dead relos or ex fans because they were killed off and moved on 30 years ago having a few grannies not long before they croak it still support their mighty 50uff $melbourne swans from Victopia.
It's alright, you can rave about memberships all you like, the crowds are never near them and the TV ratings are laughably really really close and actually sometimes have less people watching them on TV than at the actual ground in a city of 5 million. Who's the joke.
What a fraud this club is.

The Deal looks set and done
ANZ Stadium at Homebush becomes the big winner in the Baird government’s $1.6 billion sporting venue investment.
ANZ STADIUM revamped rectangle and roof $750 million 77,000 seats
Parra new stadium 350million 35,000 seats
Moore Park (upgrade 300million) (unkown)
leaves approx. 200mill left of funds. for other stadiums ?? maybe ?

SYDNEY’S ANZ Stadium will be turned into the “best rectangular sports arena in the Southern Hemisphere” and Allianz Stadium upgraded within its existing footprint, under plans unveiled by Premier Mike Baird.
After days of speculation, in which Sports Minister Stuart Ayres went rogue by advocating for the complete rebuilding of Allianz Stadium on Moore Park land, Mr Baird finally unveiled his latest stadia policy, confirming ANZ and Allianz will be upgraded - not rebuilt.
Parramatta Stadium is being rebuilt, with the work expected to be complete in 2019.

The plan will bring fans closer to the field.
A retractable roof will allow the stadium to be fully covered.
It means ANZ will continue to be the main focus of sports and major events in Sydney, rather than switching to Allianz, nearer the CBD.
Mr Baird also recently advocated for a rebuild of Allianz, at a cost of $1 billion - but the move caused anger from long-term tenants Sydney FC, the Waratahs and Roosters, who faced moving out for at least three years while the rebuild took place.
“We are going to make ANZ Stadium the best rectangular stadium in the Southern Hemisphere,” Mr Baird told reports at the arena on Thursday afternoon.
Aside from changing shape of the arena there were few other details about what other upgrades will be carried out, or exactly when work will finish.
A budget of $1.6 billion has been set to rebuild Parramatta and upgrade ANZ stadium and the cash left over from those use will be used to give Allianz a makeover.

Mr Baird was unable to say what monies will be spent on which stadia.
He did, however announce that as part of the ANZ upgrade, which should commence before 2019, a series of major sports events had been locked in.
These include 20 years of NRL grand finals and Origin matches.
There will also be ten years of Bledisloe Cup matches, a Lions tour match and 12 Socceroos matches over 12 years. There will be 12 Matildas matches.
Mr Baird was forced to repeatedly defend Mr Ayres after he advocated for rebuilding Allianz Stadium on part of Moore Park, and conceded the process of reaching agreement between the codes and stakeholders had not been easy.
It comes amid reports Mr Aryes had been locked out of talks between the government and sports codes over the last 48 hours.

I hated going ANZ personally - I felt too far away and half filled still felt not much atmospher. But as the Swans have the SCG it won't really affect us - will St.George play more games at SCG or Moore park?leeroy*NRL* wrote:for the 3 rectangle codes, this is absolutely brilliantSwans4ever wrote:Is this good or bad? Will RL accept ground rationalisation? It has worked very well in Melb (although most think another 30k stadium would fill the need for crowds when playing interstate teams with small followings e.g. Port, GWS, GC, Briabane and Freeo).leeroy*NRL* wrote:Yeh very true,Swans4ever wrote:I hated going ANZ personally - I felt too far away and half filled still felt not much atmospher. Has been a good result. Allianz gets renovated without effecting any of the home clubs.
Suburban grounds won't be affected either.
I think the only reason the Moore Park trust wanted Allianz knocked down was because they are mostly AFL people involved with the Swans.
So teams like Sydney FC, Sydney Roosters and NSW Waratahs would have all had to relocate for a few years making the Swans the only Sydney CBD football code with local games.
Glad a big fuckyou went to their ideas. Rebecca Wilsons angry rant in the paper said it all. An avid Swans fan who shitbags Rugby League at any opportunity.
Now Sydney will have 3 first class stadiums which will ONLY be able to used for rectangular field codes.

Do you want a tin foil hat to go with that conspiracy??? Look I don't care if you get 3 good stadiums purpose built doesn't worry me in the least - in fact good luck to you the Swans are doing just fine but to claim it's all part of a great conspiracy well fuck me your unwell - if anything I'm glad that their not moving because where do you think they would move to??? Only the SCG which is our home and I certainly couldn't bear to see a crowd of only 10k turn up there when it's used to Swans crowds in excess of 30k.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote:Has been a good result.
