I stand corrected at this stage - but 1st game good return and I was talking about club football not rep football which SOO is what can't you understand about that? Particularly as Easts v Manly only got 12k

No I said I stood corrected - but let's be clear about this 2 biggest clubs in Sydney in a stand alone fixture in Sydney with no opposition codes to compete against - yeah an extra 3k is an astounding achievement! Should have been 70k + like Tigers v Blues the night before and you should admit it's a poor return for a very favourable set up!

and seriously, when are you expecting to compete with the AFL in crowds? Even if you get to 20k, an increase of 25%, it will still be almost 15k below the AFL. You started aiming for 20k under Smith and have actually gone backwards
