Goodes booing aside I can only think of Michael Long and Nicky Winmare incidents but those were incidents on the field and happened 20 yrs ago. This thread try's to suggest that wild packs of racists are roaming games - so really for people who detest AF and would be caught dead at a game who is seeing this to make comment. I know what goes on at Storm matches and Swans matches because I go there - who in this group of RL matches goes to AF matches????? Believe it or not crowds in Melb are just as multicultural as in Syd but with much more people attending.

Never seen this happen with the almighty AFL, but I have seen it happen with Rugby League connecting with fans from all different places. Hello Lebanon. A few others have just started too, small steps, but at least a step or two, the AFL isn't stepping at all, in fact it's finding it harder than ever to keep what it's got now.

Its Australia's game, we invented it. So of course it resonates with Australia. There are many many sports that only really resonate with people in the country it originated
