Why do NRL fans hate AFL so much?

You just need to look at any anti AFL thread on LU to see the extent of the hatred, page after page of anti AFL-anti Victorian posts, but on the other hand anti NRL threads on BF barely get to the second page, the average AFL fan couldn't give a flying fuck about RL.

Why is this?

Well, first of all hatred is the wrong word to use regarding LU posters, I think the correct term for their anger is called 'Fear', fear of the AFL, and I think this is why AFL fans don't react the same way to their rival code, because AFL fans don't fear RL.

Because the joint is filled with lying dickheadic morons like LIC who then move to Sydney or elsewhere and morph into something like Swans4ever (sounds like clipper from the roar) who consistently promote and push their propaganda bullshit of a cult down our throats non stop telling us how bad the sports are we watch and how fucking great theirs is.

It's a sport, not religion.

And as for clippers bs about Sydney being jealous of Melbourne and having a chip, wtf, and I mean, WTF?

I live in neither and I don't like the big smoke, but for fucks sake, if you want to be anywhere in Aus, there's only two places, Sydney or Melbourne, yes Sydney is first by a long way. Deal with it or build a decent harbour and get the fuck over it.

It is mainly played against NZ and England where it is not even the 2nd preferred sport - fact. Lastly it is a basic game - pass ball 6 times and then hand to other side - touch a ball over a line 60 odd meters long - can't get more basic than that - fact. The fact your neither intellegient enough or open enough to understand or appreciate AF is your problem - you may not like but your kids or their kids most probably will. You are a clear example of the Sydney - Melb rivalry which is mostly a Sydney thing (people in Melb don't have this issue). I have lived in both Sydney and Melb ( and country NSW and Vic). But you no doubt have rearly stepped more than 50 m from your Bankstown dole office hence the attitude - perhaps if you experienced more than just your narrow little world you can come out of the fog of ignorance you live in!

And I'm sure you've experienced both cities to make such a statement Para, I have no objective dislike for RL - on the contrary I go to at least 3 - 4 Storm games every year because I like to watch something different and although a basic game I enjoy it for what it is. But as I have said many times I prefer AF. As for my agenda well just like in the membership thread that you choose not to challenge - when you and yours make such outlandish statements yeah I will respond. But if you want to have a discussion where points of view are respected I would be happy to do that as well - AFLCRAPPER couldn't concede anything even if his life depends on it and it becomes an argument of contradiction with him yelling out Lyair and I demand proof every second statement. Para you however can be quiet engaging at times - I can agree that you like RL and feel that it epitomises everything good in sport but you should respect the same of me which you and crapper don't. Lastly I think if you love Perth of the Sunshine Coast or where ever that's the place to be - yet RL posters who have never been to Melb always like to tell us how bad it is in comparison to Sydney (even thou every year more and more from the Northern states move down here then Vic's moving up there).
