Why do NRL fans hate AFL so much?

You just need to look at any anti AFL thread on LU to see the extent of the hatred, page after page of anti AFL-anti Victorian posts, but on the other hand anti NRL threads on BF barely get to the second page, the average AFL fan couldn't give a flying fuck about RL.

Why is this?

Well, first of all hatred is the wrong word to use regarding LU posters, I think the correct term for their anger is called 'Fear', fear of the AFL, and I think this is why AFL fans don't react the same way to their rival code, because AFL fans don't fear RL.

the tugby fans are insecure scared of everything, they will pick fights with the union and a league mobs that coudn't care about league.
they create conspiericies about the news reporters, media outlets, AFLBC, fairfax & newsltd etc, when it suits them they expect us to believer the story when it doesn't they class it as lies & that person or media organisation are out on a witch hunt to take down the NRLOL

It all goes back to the Sydney - Melb rivalry thing - Sydney siders are so insecure just look at how they regard each other from East to West! They don't like not being the centre of things, they know they could never be at the centre of AF so instead they follow RL even thou it's not the most popular game in town (soccer is). RL makes them feel superior because they can beat up some NZ hacks who were not able to play RU and some fat pommy brain damaged git. That's it, in AF we don't care it's not international only that it is Australia's game and not some barstardised code of Rugby. You only have to look at their insults, "fumbler" it has no relevance to our game as our game moved passed yr5 let's try and keep it off the ground. FFS they can throw the ball in any particular style as short or as long as their able provided they don't drop it, try having to punch the ball with your fist or kick the ball with pin point accuracy and mark the ball in the air all while someone's trying to stop you, AF players don't get the luxury of being 10 meters from their opponent. Aside from that as a game I like it, it's just not my preferred game. But like I said it all boils down to Sydney siders not liking anything to do with Melb. You only have to look at the insults to work that one out "*******". LOL I'd rather be a ******* then a "bum sniffer' and I grew up in Manly.!!!
