Well derpster, lets look at it this way, Parramatta will have more members than the capacity of their stadium again next year whilst your pissy little club will not get within 50% of their home stadium capacity.

Go on, explain to me about the MCG blah blah blah, them the facts dingbat, while your club is going down the tubes in drug fueled thickheadedness and arrogance, my club is getting a brandspankingnew Rectangular stadium in the heart of its own people while your lot and near all others in Vic share a ground that's sterile with no home advantage that really brings out the passion at games. Naa, my team is building for the future in the 2nd city of Sydney while your lot will be happy if anyone let alone a star player can play for your lot after work and safety get thru with them.

your team is a minnow just like the GWS, except they have been around 60 plus years longer
give it another 5 years the GWS will have had growth while your minnow team will still be a minnow

In another 5 years dumbo, the eels will be playing in a permanent 30k plus stadium outside a few games taken to ANZ stadium because of capacity. How in the hell will the Giants be able to get more when they are in the same boat at the moment that the eels are in being that the stadium capacity isn't that GREAT? That plus the fact the GWS Canberra Prague North Melbourne Gold Coast West Sydney Kangarwhores have no support?

Ummm they have done things in 60 years, they played at Cumberland oval for years up until the grandstand was torched back in the early 80's after the maiden GF win, they then played at a few other places like Belmore for a few years until the new Parramatta stadium was built in 1986. The capacity back then was just below 28k but that was at dangerous levels and no crowds since 1986 have been anywhere near that capacity right down to this day where the stadium is an all seater atm with 19,500 seats.

Over the next 5 years Dingbat, the ground will be demolished once again and a brand new 30k + stadium shall be built with the eels opening it hopefully at the start of the 2019 season.

Here endeth another history lesson.

the explain why the AFL is decades ahead in, crowds, revenue, sponsorship, membership, participation rates & why the NRL has not expanded outside of NSW & QLD to the rest of the country
