Hi guys, apologies for my absence (been caught up with a lot of things work wise). Sadly due to the recent update to the forums, the previous tipping competitions are no longer compatible and there was not enough time to get the developer of the footy tipping comps to get it up and running in time for the start of the NRL and AFL seasons.

Cheers to Wookie for setting up an alternative competition through OzTips. I'm willing to match Wookie's generous offer above. Hopefully we can get more people involved. Again cheers Wookie for taking the initiative to get this up and running and again guys/gals, apologies for my absence. Thank god for our Wookie eh

good to see footy comps are back on too late to join nrl as too far back but the AFL should be interesting

Hi Wookie/Beaussie,

Can I confirm that for the tipping comp there are separate prize pools for both the AFL and nrl and that the prize pools are: 1st prize is $100, 2nd $60, 3rd $40.

If Beaussie is matching my offer then his half will pay the NRL comp, my half will pay the AFL comp at the rate stated above.

First will be $50, second will be $30, third will be $20.

Yep as mentioned earlier in the thread, I'll match Wookie's generous offer. I do hope to have the Footy Tipping up and running again through this site again next season.
