The AFL Grand Final - An exquisite representation of the AFL org and comp

Well well well, AFL GF day!

What an abysmal, woeful staging of what was supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport yesterday. Lemme recount just how abysmal we're talking here.

1. Well I'd suggest this was a good thing but those down at AFL hq and a few of the rednecks frequenting this site wouldn't have been too happy. During her welcome the Local Aboriginal Elder apparently ripped fukkin shreds out of the AFL and its fans for its woeful showing in the booing of goodes. This in front of our most senior aussie officials and politicians

2. Goodes rightly snubs attending the retiring player lap of honour, showing the AFL and its fans that racism and its many guises is not ok.

3. The pregame entertainers were, once again!, a fukkin mess and waste of money. Lip syncing, off cue, and forgetting the words of the national anthem were just some of the absolute fukkups that have become routine in AFL GF pre game entertainment. The NRL and any other reputable professional sporting org just couildnt fukk up their pre gf game entertainment anywhere near as bad if they tried

4. The game was over well before half time, as it was last year. The lopsided comp is now well established in the AFL comp as a whole and the GF reflected this boring form of competition yest. I've no doubt some hawthorn players will feel as tho they were not really in a comp yest, they'll more likely feel like they went for a few k's leisurely walk for a picnic in the woods yest. It was nothing more than an absolute abysmal game.

Now I'm not sure whether there was violence in the crowd towards women but we can be assured the crowd included bountiful racists and male women bashers.

Oh yeah and on a side note, wookie, I know you didn't believe me in some other thread that there's more youtube footage of AFL fans bashing women so here's one just for you matey. You'll have to signin to youtube tho as the footage has been deemed too graphic for under 18s

It was OMG, it was pure brilliant theatre from start to finish, it was...reflective of a season unscarred by racist turds in the crowd and administrators of the game, it was...reflective of a competition closer than any other prof comp in the nation.

Just exquisitely sublime stuff.

It was a shammozzle of epic proportions followed by a game of footy which could be compared with a high school rep team vs a primary school rep team. There simply wasn't a competition to watch.

You can try and avoid reality all ya like wookie but the AFL gf day was an epic fail on several counts this year.
