The essindrug saga still going strong .
Tanking is acceptable .
Once integrity is gone ,then big media deals, a good finals series etc will not get rid of the bad odour lingering over AFLOL house .
Who tanked?
Dont be obtuse. Melbourne did - and were stupid enough to keep evidence. Every man and his dog knows it, and every man and his dog also knows that Melbourne threatened court action which is why we ended up with a negotiated settlement.
You won't get an argument from me in regards to what the D's did in 09, I watched the whole sorry saga unfold firsthand. It Without doubt set the club back a decade and destroyed any good will that may still have existed and was just one more in a very long line of fuck ups perpetrated by the MFC. I will say Carlton and one or two others don't have clean hands in regards to this issue and the lack of leadership from AFL house was poor to say the least.
As for the question posed to our friend crapper, I maintain it was an easy question and should have been easily answered. Crapper has a habit of making subjective statements and forwarding biased opinions and passing them off as fact, when he's pulled up on this he responds with abuse and vitriol. While this is amusing and makes it way to easy to toy with him it doesn't solve the underlining problem. The original question would have lead to others if answered, and as I stated we may have even agreed.I have major reservations with what took place last weekend and the way it was handled by the AFL and not for the first time.
At the end of the day crappers inability to detect sarcasm and understand inflection would appear to be the issue here, I've asked him many a question in the past and pulled him up more than once on his bias and no fact based rhetoric it would seem that this will continue into the future.
