Alright I think this thread has now well and truly run its course so please, my members, allow me to now sum it up.

AFL fan starts thread which tries to claim melbourne is a better city than sydney.

Rugby league fans point out that sydney shits all over melbourne in regards to architecture, natural environment, beauty, aboriginal populations, international visitors and celebrities, sunshine, and several other aspects.

Melb fans struggle to come to terms with the fact their city is actually shithouse in comparison. They claim it's not true, then they backpeddle when threatened with evidence and eventually they submit to the truth but desperately cling on to one of the items awhere they think we cannot provide evidence for 'international acts'

It's been fun guys but a little too easy.

Sydney - sunnier, more grand architectural masterpieces, internationally renowned acts like the royals prefer it here, higher aboriginal population equalling more aboriginal influence across the board, including in politics, medicine, education, law etc etc etc, much more scenically appealing and it just goes on.

I've heard Melbs has a slightly better coffee... tho I've also heard the coffe costs more there.

Sydney -leading the way again. And I know for a fact the law schools in sydney graduate more aboriginal lawyers than melb unis do. The larger aboriginal population is doing great guns from here in sydney

The article informs us that a record number of indigenous doctors graduated from uni of NSW and mentions 1 from Sydney and 1 has chosen Albury hardly Sydney. I can't believe how far you've come, from baseless claims and sweeping statements to fuck you I'll give nothing and now this. I'm proud of both of us. Of course all your hard work proves nothing how can it! which city is the best is totally subjective and utterly unprovable but that's not the point.
