Isn't that a problem for the NRL - Swans fans home ground is the SCG!

and its a big reason why the Swans are leaving ANZ

because its a hopeless ground for viewing

if the FANS turned out at ANZ the SWANS would still be there..

This is dumbos theory .
Makes sense if you get plastered on metho & fall over & hit your head on the concrete night after night .



Tv stations hand out ratings boxers to select people .
Knowing that they will watch certain programs .
Then try to leverage advertising dollars off companies with these fake numbers .


So once a tv channel has put out fake ratings to show how popular a program or sport is ,they then have to fork out hundreds of millions of dollars to buy the rights to that sport .
Why would they artificially inflate the popularity of a sport when it will drive the price up ?
According to you they are paying big overs for something they know doesn't rate well ,but they lied about that so they could outlay far more than it's worth.

No. because at the time of writing our total metro viewership is almost identical to the NRLs with exactly zero Origin or rep fixtures (27 million each). Our total fox viewership is at ahead of the NRLs by 4 million. When regionals and NZ are factored in, the ratings are almost even as far as I can tell. So no we arent embarrased.

So your saying that if you reduce Rugby league by about 20% the ratings are almost the same?

Haha all those AFL games shown on fta beamed into every state yet they're around even with the NRL who have less games per week, less games shown on FTA, less games shown live and supposedly less people interested in it because it has less states involved in it.
