AFL guys fans may snubb their noses at this. But having another professional league outside Australia for top NRL clubs to test themselves against is something AFL will NEVER EVER HAVE.
I watch alot of Superleague matches and there still is a very passionate fanbase up North.
With 35 professional Rugby League clubs in 3 divisions.

Said to be long term plans to try to introduce more European clubs like the Catalan Dragons in France.
Some of these AFL guys like to try to dismiss it, but they know well Rugby League well and truly has it over AFL in the UK by a million miles.
