Interesting Times

Google has a seat at the negotiating table for the NRL's broadcast rights
in a shock development that could revolutionise how sport is consumed.

I hope that doesn't mean every time, I go to use google, it will have a picture in the back ground of one player sniffing another players butt

Too early to see how this will translate into $, interesting but I would think more of a puff price to put pressure on TV bidders.

Agreed, I think will come into play in future deals.

Didn't youtube which is owned by Google tinker around with the IPL a few years ago?

Pretty sure they did, when the ill was starting out. Then the BCCI brought the rights back as the IPL after they worked out they had a cash cow on their hands

Now that Fox has no government restrictions , I think C10 might be the favourite.
